It's been like a squillion years since we did a T13, so here we go.
Thirteen Things Seen and/or Heard Around the House This Week:
1. :a startled Mom gasps: "Oh! Excuse me, I didn't know you were in here," as she walks in on EG in the litterbox
2. "I love Harvey Woofnagle! I love Harvey Woofnagle!" (in a singsong voice)
3. "Do you think the kittehs will eat salmon?" Um, do ya think?
4. "Oh, T-Bone! Tell me you didn't eat that whole bottle of Fresh Factors!" (he didn't - he just chewed up the old bottle that was in the recycling bin)
5. "Your belleh looks so snorgle-able. I sure wish I wasn't in danger of having my face clawed off."
6. "Excuse me, Speckle? Sweet Speckle-baby? Could you please move your tail so that I can change the channel?"
7. "Ugh!" After The Mom stepped on a soaking-wet wad of toilet paper in the hallway.
8. "Why is there a soaking-wet wad of toilet paper in the hallway?" For the answer, please see #9 heh heh
9. "Eggie! Stop playing in the toilet!" I probably would, if you'd stop calling me "Eggie." And if you start calling me Eggie Meownagle again, you're gonna find something way worse than a soaking-wet wad of toilet paper in the hallway.
10. "Um, honey? Errol just ate part of a plastic straw wrapper." heh heh
11. "Dude! I just had to put the squeeze on EG. He was trying to run under the bed and I had to grab him by the leg and he got all rubbery. I feel bad."
12. "Why, Eggie, WHY?!" after The Mom noticed that an entire handle was eaten off of a plastic bag
13. "Gimme some frooooooot baaaaaaat."

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 66
Since my latest indiscriminant competitive eating incident last week (which appears as #13 on the list), Mom has been thinking of all the things that I've eaten since I was Gotcha'd 8 years ago. Takeru Kobayashi ain't got nothin' on me. (Please note: Mom doesn't think that this is a complete list - she's almost positive she's blocking out a few more of these horrible memories. hehe)
1. My very first shot at competitive eating (and this one holds a special place in my heart): 6 pounds of prescription dawg food (that didn't belong to our family), a dozen sugar cookies, and part of a wooden broom handle. Twice. In the same day. I won't go into details on how it was twice (for those with weak stomachs), but use your imagination. hehe Mom took me to the v-e-t because my tummy was all poochy and she was worried about bloat. They tried to make me puke, but I refused to give it up again. The v-e-t was amazed. hehe
2. Aluminum foil and corn cobs (2 whole corn cobs, if you're counting)
3. Various animals in the back yard. We won't go into detail. This one makes Mom real sad, but I keep reminding her that I haven't done this since Shadow (the Dawg Who Came Before) wented to the Bridge.
4. A box of chocolate pudding powder
5. All of the mulberries that fell off the tree in the backyard (or were on the branches that I could reach) - I ate as much as I could until I got caught
6. Multiple Clif bars
7. Two pounds of kitteh kibble
8. Kitty box crunchies (This is my go-to whenever I feel like I need a little variety in my diet. It has never failed me. hehe)
9. 20 oz box of raisin bran (In retrospect, this wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had, but it was delicious!)
10. 1/2 a bar of Ivory soap (Not that delicious, but my puke was very interesting - and bubbly)
11-12. 50 salmon oil pills and an entire box of Lucky Charms (on the same day - I even impressed myself with this one)
13. Two 90 count bottles of the supplement that I take every day. After a panicked call to the manufacturer and much freaking out on Mom's part, all I ended up with was some really stinky gas and a day's worth of 'tocks trouble. The lady at the manufacturer told Mom that someone had called in because their dawg had eaten most of a 1000 tablet bottle and was ok (though she said she didn't recommend doing that). Mom felt lots better that I wasn't the only one who does this sort of thing. Plus she was relieved that we didn't have to go to the v-e-t this time. She says she gets really embarrassed when she has to call them because I've eaten something and she's afraid they'll call the Furry Kid Protection Services on her. She's such a worry-wart. I've got it all under control. Sort of. I hope JH (my life coach) doesn't read this.

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 65
Here are Thirteen Things that Hurl Grey (and not Earl Grey) has done this week:

1. Knocked a box of Lucky Charms into Titus' waiting mouth
2. Watched as Titus ate 50 salmon oil pills and didn't tell The Mom about it until after he ate them
3. Put the bitey on The Mom when she and EG were having cuddle time
4. Played jingle ball at 2:30 am
5. Put the bitey on a delicious pink ear
6. Put the bitey on a delicious, skinny dawg ankle
7. Stoled a bunch of chicken and rice that Dad made for Titus
8. Askeered the doody out of the cable guy
9. Refused to cuddle with The Mom for 4 days in a row
10. Stalked Titus and Tazo
11. Clawred The Mom when she picked up EG
12. Hid in a shopping bag and jumped out at Tazo
13. Led a rousing game of Thundering Herd of Elephants at 5:30 on Saturday morning
This evil twin thing is awesome.
Mwahahahahahaha

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 64
Here are thirteen things that we hope Santa Claws didn't see this week:
1. The way we tag teamed the pizza box and scored a piece of pizza.
2. The way EG jumped (ninja-style) on The Mom's back when she had a really bad hurty stiff neck and askeered the crappity crap crap out of her.
3. The way Tazo jumped out of the box in the hallway in the dark when The Mom was walking down the hall.
4. EG running outside in the pouring rain.
5. EG biting somedawg's delicious, pink ears.
6. Somekitty chewing on The Mom's new phone charger cord.
7. EG eating a plastic bag.
8. Titus grabbing dirty socks from the laundry and dropping them all over the house.
9. EG giving Dad and The Mom the bitey when he earthworms under the covers at night.
10. Waking The Mom up at 2:30 am for breakfast.
11. Learning how to open the toy drawer and playing with the must-have-supervision toys WITHOUT SUPERVISION.
12. Flinging Swheat Scoop all over the litterbox room.
13. Helping The Mom decorate for Christmas by dragging her baby Christmas tree into the kitchen and chewing on the cord.
Does anybody really think that these are super bad things? Do you think Santa Claws noticed? Do we have to be good for another two whole weeks?

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 60
Here are Thirteen Things heard around our house this week:
1. Hi there, Speckle-dy Speck (to Tazo)
2. There's Mr. Happy Pants! (to Titus)
Note from Titus: You know the voice she uses to try to get me to do quivvy tail and the old "gimme some frooooot baaaaat"? Well, imagine it even more sing-songy and about 5 octaves higher. It hurts a dawg's ears, I tell ya.
3. Errol! Don't even think about it! (to EG, of course)
4. Are all tuxies so crabby? Or just the grey ones?
5. She's drinking my Slurpee!
6. Dude! It's 2:50. It's not time to get up. (to all of us)
7. Where's my bizzy boyeeeee? (to Titus)
8. Shh! EG and I are having dude time. Do not disturb. (from Dad)
9. Well, the Lions didn't lose this week. Um, because they didn't play. (from Dad)
10. Stop licking! (to all of us)
11. DON'T EAT PLASTIC! (to EG)
12. She licked my pizza! (about Tazo)
13. Dude! I had no idea chili stained so much.
And just for fun:

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 59
Because The Mom has been lazy busy, we haven't checked out sitemeter stats lately. Here are some things people have searched for that led them to us. Bet they were surprised. heh heh
1. White mustache (oh, yeah)
2. Your blinky eyes (remember that horrible video with The Mom yammering about Titus' blinky eyes?) Hahahahahaha!
3. Furry blog
4. Footie hanging
5. And one that we're not going to list because it's not G rated. Or even R rated. In fact, The Mom felt like *she* was too young for that one. heh heh
Um, after that, we're going to quit while we're ahead.
Let's see. How about 8 random things that have happened this week.
6. I got my claw stuck in The Mom's sort of sore ear piercing. She said some bad words. I hate to say it, but that's kinda what she gets for trying to get me to cuddle.
7. Dad brought home a gyro and Tazo stoled some lamb out of it and then he felt bad so he gave me and Titus a taste, too. But don't tell The Mom.
8. The Mom is addicted to playing "Tap Tap Revenge" on Dad's iPhone. It's like Dance Dance Revolution or something. It might be like Guitar Hero, but The Mom is sort of clueless about that kind of thing. Anyway, she's obsessed and it's got super annoying music that cuts into our nap time.
10. Someone had some loose 'tocks issues in the litterbox and The Mom burst into tears. heh heh (Note: It was a one time thang. I don't know why she got all freaked about it. Whatevs.)
11. I have discovered that fishy stinky goodness is DEE-LISH-US. Holy cats! I snarf it right down.
12. Dawg treats are pretty yummy, too.
13. We got up at 3:50 this morning and scored some breakfast. I think we've finally worn The Mom down. heh heh I can not wait until the time changes and we'll be having breakfast at 2:50 am. SCORE!!
Anyway, it's been pretty boring around here, as you can see. We've been catching up on naps and such. And I'm working on a real good hairball. But that's about it.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 58
Thirteen Things that have happened around here this week:
1. EG's super special poo test came back negative so his 'tocks are free and clear. What, Mama? Oh, she says his 'tocks have not been free this summer. hee hee
2. This morning something was scratching Mama's foot in bed. She thought it was Daddy's scraggly toenail (GROSS!), but it was me. I was clawing and clawing and putting the bitey on her. Hee hee!
3. Titus stole Mama's cherry strudel that Daddy brought her from the very best German restaurant around here. He ate the whole thing and then me and EG helped him clean up the crumbs. It was pretty tasty!
4. We each got to have a taste of marshmallow this week when Mama made s'mores. Mama didn't think me and EG would eat it because we are picky about new food, but we chowed it down.
5. Spumoni ice cream is super tasty.
6. As you can tell, Daddy has left a lot of food items unattended this week.
7. I have started poking my head out the door when Mama comes home. She does not like this new habit.
8. Stinky goodness has returned to our home. Finally!
9. Mama bought us new litterboxes. We like them a lot because there's no cover and we can fling litter super far.
10. I stole a bean burrito off Mama's plate and ran into the laundry room. Then I growled at her when she tried to take it away from me. I am just a little bit embarrassed by that part.
11. The squirty water bottle has come out of hiding. I do not like it one little bit.
12. EG has been snuggling on Mama this week. She likes it a lot, but she learned pretty quick to keep her hands off (which is really hard for her to do) or she gets the bitey. hee hee
13. Titus got a post card from the V-E-T's office that says he needs to go in for a six month geezer dawg check up. Better him than us!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 57
Here are thirteen things we're thankful for this week:
EG
1. The Mom got a proper "sample" to drop off at the V-E-T's office so she's not lurking behind the bathroom door every time I'm in there doing my personal, private business. It was quite annoying.
2. The return of STINKY GOODNESS. FINALLY. We had to go two months without it because of all the 'tocks trouble. We shoulda called the ASPCA.
3. Delicious pink ears
4. My first hairballs. My tummy felt better and as a bonus, it really freaked out The Mom. heh heh
Tazo
5. Open windows
6. Corn Pops - they are delicious!
7. Lots of pictures of Bert on his blog lately
8. Fresh catnip - oh.my.paw. Mama cut off all the crispy parts of the plants and gave us some last night. It was totally primo. Except I got really nipped out and she thought she poisoned me and was going to have to take me to the ER. hee hee
The Mom
9. I am very thankful that Tazo was just nipped out and that I didn't actually kill her. Whew!
Titus
10. I am thankful for all the delicious things that have been suggested in our contest. I have some new ideas for my competitive eating.
11. Tummy scritches
12. Cooler weather in the mornings so I can hang outside while Mom gets ready for work
13. The Furminator

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 56
Here's 13 thoughts I've been thinking since *last* Thursday.
1. I heard The Mom say that the VICIOUS AND RABID GOLDEN RETRIEVERS are moving away. Whew! The neighborhood will be safe again without that HORRIBLE BAND OF VICIOUS AND RABID GOLDEN RETRIEVERS ROAMING the streets. VICIOUSLY .
2. Banana-flavored medicine and chicken-flavored medicine do not taste like bananas OR chicken. They taste like a word that I'm not allowed to say. (Dear Aunt Bee, if you want me to send my clavamox to you for Sarge, then I'm on it. It's a banana-flavored antibiotic, and it may give him the squirts, just to let you know. But I'd be happy to
3. It's kinda fun to watch The Mom "dig for treasures" in the litterbox every day.
4. Woman! If you take a picture of me as an "EG-burrito/Tiny One Week Old Baby", I just might claw your eyes out. And the fact that you give me a big, old smooch on the top of the head every time DOES NOT MAKE IT ANY LESS EMBARRASSING. (The Mom's note: He just looks soooo cute all wrapped up in the towel we have to use to give him his meds. It's just so adorable. I just know that Dorydoo would love to see a picture of him. )
5. ::singing:: A HANDFUL (hint, hint The Mom) of greenies makes the medicine go down, the medicine go down-wown, the medicine go down...
6. I'm looking into the evil twin thing. You know, like Mr Hendrix has Bendrix. But I'm having trouble coming up with a name for him. Then again, I do have a real twin sister. Hmmm. Why didn't I think of that before? I could just blame everything on Tazo *and* get her to take my medicine for me. heh heh Then again, I'm not sure she's got that "evil twin" look about her. Anybody have any suggestions?
7. If you look really pathetic, The Mom will drop everything and give you lots of attention. And then you can give her the bitey with a side of bunnykicking.
8. I have not had stinky goodness since June 22. That should be a crime. I'm totally jonesin' for some Grammy's Pot Pie. To add insult to injury, The Mom even stopped making boiled burger or chicken and rice for me. What the paw?????
9. I just can't get a good "dig to China" thing going in the stoopid, new litterboxes The Mom insists on using. We did luck out on the Breeze Box thing here. The Mom was considering it, but the whole 'tocks issue + pellets really creeped her out. Whew! We dodged that one for sure!
10. My name is Earl Grey NOT Errol Grey.
11. It's super fun to watch The Mom freak out when I pretend to eat out of the litterbox. heh heh
12. We got Titus used to waking up at 4:37 am and now we can sleep in. He gets everyone up at 4:37 am and then The Mom gets crabby at his good two shoes self, instead of me.
13. What, The Mom? I am *not* crabby.
In other news, Aunt Jen got to go home yesterday! Wahoo! Your purrs really worked. She still has her infection, but it's lots better. She can't get her chemo next week like her doctor planned, but she does get to stay home, hang with her kitty, Molly, and hopefully grow some more white blood cells. Thanks again for the awesome purrs!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 54
Here's 13 Things heard while we get our medicine:
1. Please don't run under the bed!
2. T-Bone! You don't want the medicine. It's for kitty tummies. ::whispers:: And it doesn't taste good.
3. That's my good Bizzy Boy! (Titus takes his medicine like a good boy. Show off.)
4. Here, Speckle-Speckle! Let Mama make a speckly burrito.
5. EG! Please don't scratch Mama.
6. I'm sorry that tastes so bad.
7. Tazo, please don't make that pitiful sound. Mama is sorry about the medicine.
8. Ouch! (As Mama gets scratched during medicine time)
9. That Flagyl is *not* chicken flavored.
10. Who wants some yogurt? Would that make you feel better?
11. Don't make me put the squeeze on you!
12. Why is there medicine splattered on the kitchen cabinet???
13. How do you guys get so rubbery and hard to pick up?

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 53
We've had a busy week around here. Here's 13 miscellaneous things that have happened:
1. Last weekend, we all got 'tocks troubles again. hee hee
2. On Monday, we all had to go to the V-E-T. You should've seen it. Mama had two cat carriers and Titus on a leash. Normally, Daddy goes with her if more than one of us has to go, but he couldn't this time. She doesn't recommend doing this by yourself. But we were all super good, so it worked out. She did have to take a nap when we got home though.
3. At the V-E-T, Titus got a ::whispers:: rectal exam. He doesn't want to talk about it. But Mama says that Dr P says that his 'tocks felt ok. (As a side note, Mama and Dr P both kept apologizing to him, but he wasn't buying it. hee hee) EG and I only had to supply a sample (which Mama collected at home) for a very special test. The technical name is adiarrhea panel super special parasitic poo test. Because our poo is super special.
4. We had no internets for a squillion days, so the cable guys came out to check it. Daddy thought that maybe somekitty (NOT ME!!!) had chewed something again, but it turns out the problem was at the pole outside. They fixed up our internets and now we can visit all of our friends again (if Mama cooperates).
5. I, Tazo, have been hiding under the cedar chest a lot this week. In addition to the askeery cable guys tromping through the house, there's also been a askeery guy working on the floor in one of the bedrooms. Daddy says he's super nice and has kitties of his own, but I'm not buying it.
6. EG has been snoopervising all the activity in the house this week. He was pretty pleased with the work of the cable guys. He would've done some stuff a little differently, like maybe chased some birdies in the yard or climbed a tree instead of walking straight to the utility pole in the back yard. But overall, he says they did a good job.
7. Here's EG checking out the floor guy's work. I am a little hesitant because I think that the askeery floor guy might still be in there. But he wasn't.
Here's a picture of the new floor. Please excuse the ugly pipe. Daddy will put the cover back on sometime soon. Mama is very excited about the floor. She really likes it. She thinks it's a huge improvement over the ugly linoleum that was in there before.

8. We've been getting a yucky, probiotic paste twice a day, every day this week. It's supposed to get squirted in our mouths, but Mama has given up and just smeared it on our feets. We think it's rude. Mama keeps telling us that it doesn't taste too bad (because she got to taste it involuntarily - hee hee!), but we're not buying it.
9. We got the results of ourdiarrhea panel super special parasitic poo test. We have giardia. Mama is very relieved that we have a diagnosis, yet very sad that she has to continue to scrub the litterboxes every day. And give us medicines. Twice a day. Hahahahahaha! Titus' 'tocks test was negative but he's being treated for giardia, too, because he probably has it from when he went litterbox surfing a couple of weeks ago.
10. Daddy keeps saying that we have the G*hirardelli squirts instead of the H*ershey squirts. Hahahahahaha!
11. Mama got to laugh and laugh at Dr P last night when Dr P told her to use plastic litter box liners so that she didn't have to scrub out the litterboxes every day. Mama told her that she can't use the liners because EG eats them. Dr P started laughing and agreed that Mama shouldn't use them because she doesn't want EG to have more tummy surgery. hee hee
12. Mama broke down last night and bought a package of cardboardy litterbox liners. She's hoping that we cooperate. We may, or we may not. Stay tuned.
Here is a picture of me helping Mama with litterboxdoody duty. EG says I don't quite have the right idea. You mean these boxes aren't for sleeping?

13. Mama has been apologizing to me this week because everyone at the V-E-T keeps pronouncing my name wrong. Mama keeps telling them it's "TAH zoh" like taco with a "z" but they keep saying it with a short a sound like in taxi or worse yet, "TEH zoh." That one made Daddy giggle a little bit. I don't care what they call me as long as I don't have to go back there for a long, long time.
Happy Thursday!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 52
Since our tummy clocks have been set ahead for the last couple of weeks (meaning we're ready to eat around 4:30 instead of 5:30), we (mostly EG) pester Momma until she caves in and feeds us. After we eat, we both bathe for 20-25 minutes, and then we play Thundering Herd of Elephants. So we're in an all-out, high speed, loud-stomping game by 5:05 or so. Unfortunately, Momma is not on the same page since she likes to go right back to bed (something about not really having to get up until 6:50), so she gets a little crabby for some reason. Here's a list of things heard around our house between the hours of 4 and 7 am:
1. EG! No! (As EG is pushing books off the dresser onto Titus' head)
2. You snot! (Directed at EG)
3. No bite! (Also directed at EG when he gives Momma's toes the bitey)
4. Lay down! (Futile attempt to get us to go back to sleep)
5. It's not time yet. (Directed at all of us once we get Titus all riled up)
6. Oh, for the love of cat.
7. Ow! (Directed at EG after he chomps Momma's toes)
8. Why don't you get your Dad up? Why is it always Momma? Why? Why? Why?
9. Did you guys have speed for breakfast? (After we had played THofE for close to two hours - hee hee)
10. Go night night. It's still night night time.
11. Grrrrr.
12. Can't we just sleep in til regular time?
13. EG, you keep doing this, you need to learn how to make coffee.

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 51
It's been a busy week around Casa De Furry Kids again. Here's 13 things that happened:
1. Lots of screaming and dancing last night when the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup. Wahoo!
2. Tazo has taken to jumping up Mom's back whenever she bends over to pick something up. She always adds claws for traction, too. That kinda causes some screaming and dancing (but not the happy kind). hehehe
3. EG's been helping Mom with her homework. Mostly by chewing on the corners of her papers and sprawling all over the middle of her notebook.
4. Mom took some very embarrassing pictures of me, Titus.
5. Mom's voice sounds very funny because she's still sick. So she's been chasing us around the house saying, "Luuuuuuke, Luuuuuuke!" in this scary Darth Vader voice.
6. Mom's been calling EG "Errol D. Errol" a lot this week. She just made it up and apparently it makes her very happy. It does not make EG happy, however.
7. EG and I played together really nicely this week. I (like a good boy) stuck to the Feet and Tails Rule (Tails and feet, everything's sweet. Tummy and head, everyone's dead.) Things went great until he went for my delicious, pink ears.
8. Tazo's been cuddling with Mom in the mornings (usually it's EG).
9. Because Tazo hates the new flashy box, Mom's been using the old one to take pictures of her. We suspect this drives Mom crazy because she's all about being efficient and doing things as simply as possible and having to use 2 cameras is neither. heh heh
10. Mom took EG outside in the stroller while she sat on the patio. It's a good thing that they didn't actually go strollering, because the front wheel fell off. EG swears that Mom was trying to kill him. Whatever.
11. Mom's trying tobribe teach the twins to do tricks. With Temptations. (It's not really working.) The good thing about this is that she always gives me some.
12. EG hates the Furminator. And he really, really needs it.
13. The twins have been getting up super early this week. In fact, they got locked out of the bedroom on Monday morning. It worked for about .00013 seconds until they started screaming and flinging themselves against the door. It wasn't a pretty situation.
Happy Thursday, Everybody!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 50
Here are 13 reasons why I'm hissed off.
1. I can't find Lanette's phone number. Don't worry, Dorydoo, it's not like that. I'm just looking for a new The Mom.
2. No one has played red dot with me since Sunday. When Lanette left and never came back.
3. The timed kibble spitter outer has been empty since Sunday. When Lanette left and never came back.
4. Someone (not Lanette) spilled stinky goodness on my head and then proceeded to call me a gooby head.
5. Someone (not Lanette) made up a stoopid, new song. What the paw is an Errol-dy Errol? I don't like it.
6. That Guy squirted me with a water bottle last night. I was only trying to get a taste of his cereal.
7. The litterboxes are only getting scooped once a day again. Lanette scooped twice a day.
8. I got yelled at for putting the bitey on Titus' ankle. It's not my fault he screamed like a little girl. And it's not like I put the bitey on one of those precious, pink ears.
9. The new flashy box is terrible. That Woman has no idea how to work it. She played with the flash and now it just makes this horrible, lightning-ish flashy thing over and over and over. And then the pictures come out like yesterday's. It's terrible. How is everyone supposed to enjoy pictures of my handsome tuxedo if the pictures are all dark and blurry?
10. That Woman has been way to busy to help us visit our friends. If she's not at the hunting place or out having a romantical weekend or at the hospital with Aunt Jen, then she's sleeping. Or trying to sleep. See #12. heh heh
11. Lanette gave us lots more temptations than That Woman does. We haven't even had any since Monday. What the paw?
12. Lanette wouldn't yell at us for playing Thundering Herd of Elephants at 3:52 am.
13. Lanette wouldn't gag while cleaning up a poo spot off the carpet. She would understand that sometimes you just gotta scoot across the carpet. heh heh

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 48
After everything that happened last weekend around the blogosphere, we wanted to make our T13 a thankful one. Here's thirteen things we're thankful for:
1. Although we didn't know Miral that long, we're thankful that we did get to meet her. We're also thankful that she's not sick any more, even though we're sad that she went to the Bridge.
2. Lilly Lu, Mu Shue, & Iris making it through the fire and being reunited with Mom Laura. We're also thankful for the fire fighters and police officers that helped reunite them.
3. Chin, tummy, and ear scritches
4. Open windows
5. Strollering
6. Salmon! Oh, and vanilla ice cream!
7. Looking out the front door (which is always closed when it's cold outside) and being able to check out what's going on in the neighborhood
8. All of our friends (and their parents) on the blogosphere - purring works miracles
9. Hugs from Momma and Daddy
10. Sunbathing in the family room sunspots
11. EG not chomping Titus' ears for a whole 10 hours
12. Having a Momma and Daddy who love us lots and always want to do what's best for us
13. Being able to help Momma get up early for work every day this week (4:30 am at the latest). It's cool that we can make sure that she has 3-1/2 hours to get ready. hee hee

Thankful Thursday Thirteen
Like a squillion years ago, we won a prize pack from Pearl, Bert, Jake, & George for knowing that George is an Airedale. Momma FINALLY helped us upload the pictures and pick out some to show you guys. We made it a Thursday Thirteen, plus Three. hee hee

Thank you so much PB&J Gang! We loved our surprises!
::batting eyes::Bert, would you like to come over today and share some nip?
Happy Thursday everyone!
Love,
Tazo
Here we are checking out the mail. Titus' nose is not really sniffing EG's spot #13. Seriously.
Momma opened the envelope for us and then let us check out the inside. It smelled really, really, really, really good. Really.
There are some treats in there (Whisker Lickin's, which were super tasty).
Some treats for Titus. (Those didn't last very long.)
A little mousie that rattles when you shake it. He has very pink ears, just like Titus.
And the bestest part - homegrown, PRIMO nip!
See how I am hogging the treats and the nip? hee hee
This smells awesome! Momma couldn't even get the bag away from me.
I'm feeling a little nipped out.
Momma sprinkled some on the carpet so EG could try it out. Nom, nom, nom, nom...
Whoa!
I jumped off the couch to help EG with his nip.
Turns out, he didn't need any help with it at all.
I think he may have the googly eyes.
Thank you so much PB&J Gang! We loved our surprises!
::batting eyes::Bert, would you like to come over today and share some nip?
Happy Thursday everyone!

Tazo

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 45
Here are Thirteen Things about my Thursday, which as you will see, has had its ups and downs:
1. Mom stayed home from her hunting place today, so we took a nap on the couch after breakfast. Just me and Mom. Just like we do on Saturdays. Only today is Thursday. This is very unusual.
2. Dad and Mom and me all hung out on the couch and drank coffee and watched some March Madness baskety-ball stuff. Me and Mom were super bored, so I got lots of belly rubs.
3. Me and Mom watched the girlfriend of the boy next door climb in his bedroom window. We were both shocked. And we ran to get Dad so that he could watch it, too, but he just rolled his eyes. Mom said she thought that that stuff only happened in the movies. And she told me that Mosaic Dawg is not allowed to climb in my bedroom window. Ever. Because we are good and respectable dawgs who come from very nice families. Mom asked Dad if this is what happens in our neighborhood during the day and he said that he didn't know - he doesn't usually stare at the neighbors. And he rolled his eyes at Mom again. heh
4. Mom followed me outside on my after breakfast-outing and ::whispers:: picked up a hunk of my dookie. This is not a good sign. She only does that for one reason - the V-E-T. Crapity crap crap crap.
5. Mom took a shower and got dressed. And put the gooey stuff in her hair. That means she's going somewhere. Usually if she has a day off from the hunting place, she declares it jammy day. (Maybe I should save this one for tattle tail Tuesday?) I started to get a bad feeling about this.
6. She got my harness and leash out. I got very, very excited. Because I thought we were going for a walk. But then she opened the car door. It occurred to me that she might be a very cool Mom today and take me to the park for a walk. We got in the car and drove and drove and drove. This is not a good sign. Because we do not have to drive and drive and drive to get to the park. Crapity crap crap crap.
7. We parked and got out and we were at the V-E-T's office. Grrrrr. Mom let me sniff around the shrubs outside. And then she dropped her car keys on the ground. In what she hopes was mud. heh It grossed her out pretty good. Serves her right as far as I'm concerned today.
8. There were two little sticky beans in the waiting room. One was holding a sucker and one was eating crackers. I wanted to buddy up to them. Mom wouldn't let me. Grrrr. One of them thought I was a wolf. I thought I would've liked to wolf down his crackers. Grrrr.
9. Alicia, the very nice tech, took me and Mom into the back. She told me that I was very handsome. She also told me that I didn't need to be so askeered. Well, Alicia, I don't know about you, but I really don't think anything hurty is going to happen to you today. Unlike me. Yes, I'm mad.
10. My bloods got stoled. And I wouldn't stop bleeding, so I had to get a bandage. Which sucked.
But nobody stuck anything in my spot #13.
11. Dr. C looked at me and poked at me and then stabbed me in the booty with big sharp needles and squirted stuff in my nose. I hate that one. But I snorted and it shot out all over her and Mom. hehe
12. While we were waiting to check out, another very nice tech came out and told me that I was super handsome. She scritchied on my ears and then she came back out with the hugest cookie I've ever seen. It was tasty. It was also nice to be able to enjoy a cookie without having to share the crumbs with a certain speckley kitten.
13. Then we stopped and bought a sammich for Dad. But not one for me. This is not good. Dad was at his friend's work, so we stopped there. Dad came out to get his sammich and then took me in the office. I got lots of attention. It almost made up for the fact that I had to go to the V-E-T. But Dad snuck me a bite of sammich without Mom noticing, so that was ok. While we were at the office place, I met a pretty nice lady. But it was obvious that she didn't have any furbabies at her house. Because when Mom told her that we'd been to the V-E-T, she asked if I had gotten my flea shot. Flea shot! Hahahahahaha! Mom giggled and giggled when we got in the car.
I hope you all have had a better Thursday than I have.

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 44
It's been a little rough around our house this week. Momma doesn't do the time change very well. So here are 13 Things (Good and Bad) about Daylight Savings Time:
1. Meals are served one hour earlier. (Good)
2. Titus did not hear the Monday morning breakfast alarm (he usually jumps right up as soon as it goes off). Momma got super askeered and thought that he was, well, it's way too terrible and we're not going to say it out loud. (Bad)
3. Our middle of the night Thundering Herd of Elephants schedule has been seriously thrown off. We haven't done it all week. (Bad)
4. Momma is walking around in a fog and made a mistake and gave us extra kibbles. (Good)
5. Momma changed the batteries in the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and then tested them. And it's super loud and askeery. (Bad)
6. Momma is in such a fog that she allowed us to run dangerously low on kibbles. (BAD)
7. We scored extra stinky goodness because of the kibble shortage. (GOOD)
8. We have not been getting our regularly scheduled play/scritchy time with Momma. (Bad)
9. Momma is so tired that she has been laying around on the couch all week. Which means EXTRA SNUGGLE TIME. (Good)
10. Not much laundry has been done this week, so Tazo's nappy spot on the dryer hasn't been as warm and cozy as usual. (Bad)
11. Our nap schedule is off so Momma keeps poking us and waking us up and asking if we are ok. (Bad)
12. We lost one whole hour of precious nap time. (Bad) But we have been working super hard on making it up. (Good)
13. EXTRA CUDDLE TIME in the mornings because Momma naps on the couch for an hour instead of working out. (Good)
Happy Thursday to everyone!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 43
In light of the recent events that have caused EG to give Momma the "back of disrespect," (hee hee) we present:
Thirteen Nicknames that have been uttered in our house this week:
1. Errol Grey: Momma's been on an Errol Flynn kick lately, and let's just say that it's not boding well for EG.
2. Mr. Angry Butt Fur: Titus's butt furs have been sticking up a little when he comes in from outside lately (Because someone has been attacking me as soon as I come in the door *cough*EG*cough*)
3. Speckle/Speckle Kitt'en: I like it when Momma says, "Speeeeeeckle! Where's my Speckle?" And then I hide. hee hee
4. Eggie: EG doesn't like it when Momma says, "Where's my Eggie?" or when she says she likes her Eggies sunny side up and then tries to smooch on his white belly. hee hee
5. Quivvy Tail: Momma can get Titus to do quivvy tail just about every time she asks, "Where's my Quivvy?"
6. Mr. Whiskers: A couple of years ago, there was a grocery store commercial that showed a white bunny on like a produce review board, and one of the board members said, "Mr. Whiskers says bring the lettuce closer." It made Momma giggle so much that she started calling Titus "Mr. Whiskers."
7. Widdle One/Widdle Big One: As in, Little One and Little Big One. Only you have to say these as fast as possible in a high pitched, sing song voice. Me and EG are "Widdle One" and Titus is "Widdle Big One" because he's, well, bigger.
8. Bizzy Boy: When Momma first heard "Bizzy for Gizzy," it was over for Titus. He became Bizzy Booooooyyyyyeeeee (sort of like how Flavor Flav says "boy").
9. Thpeckle Baby/Gwey Baby/White Baby Boooyyyeee: Oh.my.paw. This one is awiddle little embarrassing.
10. Smoke Stack: The yappy dawg next door is named Smokey and Daddy always calls him Smoke Stack. But it's more like, "Geez, Smoke Stack," or "Shut up, Smoke Stack." hee hee
11. Scout, Scout, Let It All Out: The cool dawg across the street is Scout. So whenever she's outside, Daddy sings the Tears for Fears song, but with "Scout" instead of "shout." It makes her momma giggle.
12. Boo Bear: This is what Momma calls Daddy. Don't tell him we told you.
13. Boo T: This is what Daddy calls Momma. It stands for Boo The Bear, but he shortened it to Boo T. Momma gets very embarrassed when he calls her that in public - because people think he's calling her Booty. Hahahahahaha!
