Froot Bat Friday

Mom had pity on me this week. She didn't even do the whole "gimme some frooooot baaaaat" thing last night because she knew I wasn't feeling it after the whole Snout Scratching business. It's been a rough week. Hurl Grey is proving to be a pain in the 'tocks. :sigh:

Thursday Hurlsday

Well, my furriends, I, Hurl Grey, have been one busy kitteh. Mwahahahaha.
Here are just a few things I have been up to this week:

1. Tasted delicious pink ears
2. Thrown Tazo out of the kitteh tower
3. Bited Tazo right on the neck
4. Got all poofy and chased Tazo all over the house
5. Got a time out
6. Got a talking to
7. Bited a very skinny delicious dawg ankle
8. Gotted Titus up at 1:30 am so that he'd get The Mom up to feed us breakfast
9. Boobwalked
10. Ate soap (Ivory is delicious!)
11. Yakked up a hairball/soap chunk combo
12. Bited Tazo on the 'tocks

And the piece de resistance (Mwahahahahaha):

(Titus' note: Khyra, if you're reading this, please skip this last part. My dad said, "Khyra is going to be hissed." Only he didn't exactly say "hissed" if you know what I mean. Everybuddy else can scroll down.)

13. THIS:
Two, big bloody scratches right on the snout

Mwahahahahahaha

Happy Hurlsday everyone!

Froot Bat Friday - Foiled Again

It's been another rough week on the froot bats. Hurl Grey is up to his old tricks and I have to keep my froot bats at attention and try not to have them looking all delicious and pink all the time, just in case he tries to chomp on them. In addition to having to keep my guard up for the whole Hurl Grey thing, Thursday nights tend to be froot bat photo session nights. I was just not feeling up to it last night. So I was pretending to be asleep so that Mom wouldn't do the whole embarrassing "gimme some froooooot baaaaat" thing. But I guess I dozed off for real while I was waiting for her to do her thing and my froot bats got all relaxed and she got a shot of them anyway. :( But at least I didn't have to listen to her beg.

In other news, one of my birthday treats was a Wizzler. Let me tell you, it's delicious! The funny thing about this treat is that Mom picked it out at the store based on the fact that 1)it was from Merrick and 2) didn't make her too gaggy. (She's very squeamish and the yummy treat aisle at the dawg food store is filled with stuff that makes her gag like pig snoots and all sorts of other marrow-y goodness, so she hardly ever goes down there.) But since it was my birthday, she braved the yummy snack aisle and picked out the yummy Wizzler. It said "jerky" on the package and she wasn't grossed out at all. Until she read the website and found out *where* exactly it came from. hehe She got so gaggy about it that Dad had to unwrap it and place it into my waiting jaws. We were all giggling at her behind her back, but it worked out ok. I got my treat and she doesn't have to look at it any more. Wahoo!

In other other news, Sniffie and crew gave us an award. Thanks, guys!

Thankful, Thinking, and Thirteen on Thursday

Something has me thinking. We gotted this new tower/scratchy post/hidey place recently and every time I go in there, there's cool stuff waiting for me. Like primo nip and toys and stuff. I wonder who's been putting all that cool stuff in there for me. Maybe I'll have to call Harley Secret Agent 007.5. It's quite a mystery.

As for the thankful and 13 parts, Mama is thankful that Titus has gone 13 days without indescriminant competitive eating. hee hee

Happy Thursday everybuddy!

Catching Up on Tuesday

So like a squillion years ago, we got tagged by our friends for an award, and Mama is losing her mind finally has gotten around to help us.

Our great friends KC, Pearl, Bert, & Jake, and Boy all gave us this award. Thank you!

We're going to pass it on to:
The Crew
Prinnie and Pierro
The Gang over at Curlz and Swirlz

In other news, our pal, Dennis the Vizsla Dawg, tagged us for a cool meme. You're supposed to poke around in your archives and post what you were doing a year ago. It was a froot bat Friday post. Here it is:

"Progression of a Froot Bat: A Photographic Study by Titus Theodore

This is me in the pre-froot bat phase:

This is me not feeling very frootbat-ish and Mom trying to coax my ears into it. Please note: Saying "Be the froot bat... be the froot bat..." doesn't really do anything except make me a little nervous.

The finished product:

In other news, Dad brought me a special birthday-shaped dawg cookie last night. He broke it up into pieces and fed it to me before Mom could take a picture of it, but let me tell you - it was as tasty as it was cute. I wish I had another one. Oh, and I almost scored part of Mom's turkey sammich. That would've been a darn good birthday right there: a cookie AND a sammich."

That was fun! We're going to tag:

Parker
Sammy, Miles, & Billy
The Ballicai

Froot Bat Friday

It's been a rough week for the old froot bats. Every time I turn around, EG's (though he's blaming Hurl Grey) been trying to chomp them. I guess they're extra delicious-looking this week. He's gotten some good tastes, but there are no scars or boo boos or anything, which is a good thing. Mom's got my back and all (he's gotten in lots of trouble and even got a time out last night hehe), but she can't be everywhere all the time.

In other news, tomorrow is my 9th birthday. I'm pretty excited. It's pretty cool having a Gotcha Day and a birthday all in the same week. See, I picked Mom and Dad on February 10th. And the v-e-t said that I was about a year old at the time. Since I'm so pink and white, Mom decided that Valentine's Day would be a perfect birthday. So, here we are. Mom can't believe that I'm 9 years old already. She says that it seems like I just picked her and Dad. So anyway, the plans for tomorrow are lots and lots of cuddling and maybe a big, long nap. Hopefully, I'll score a present or a tasty treat or something.

Happy Weekend!

Guess What???

I finally found out what breed of dawg I am!

Mom and Dad have always wondered what kind of dawg I am. The nice lady who saved me from those mean people thought I looked like an Akita. Which I kind of do look like the white ones, but yet I'm a little too small. Lots of people ask if I'm a white German Shepherd, but I think I'm a little too small for that, too. The v-e-t put me down for "Shepherd Mix." Mom thinks I am 100% Pink and White Bundle of Love, but after watching the Westminster Dawg Show this week, I'm not sure that's recognized by the AKC.

The other day, my good friend Khyra sent me this link. And guess what? It's me! I finally know what I am. CLICK HERE to check it out. I fit all the characteristics except for the exercise requirements. I'm not much into running and running and running - unless the gate is open and I get to escape from the back yard.

Thank you, Khyra! Now Mom can get all sorts of Mud Husky swag - like t-shirts and a sticker for her car. I can get a dawg bed with my name and breed embroidered on it. We can go to Mud Husky meet ups. It's gonna be so cool! Suh-WEET!

Tazo Tuesday on Wednesday (Again)

Here I am, practicing giving Mama a hard stare. You know, like the kind of hard stares that Daisy gives. How am I doing?

I have two things to tattle about today. The first thing is about the box I'm sitting on. Mama fell for the Bissell Kitty Halftime Show at the Puppy Bowl and bought one of those rug sucking monsters they kept talking about. The second thing I'm tattling about is that you might notice that the box is unopened. That means that she has not used the rug sucking monster. At all. Part of the reason that I'm giving Mama a hard stare is because about 30 seconds before this picture was taken, I was being chased by a dawg hair tumbleweed that was bigger than me. It was very askeery. I barely escaped with my life. The other reason that I'm giving her that hard stare is because I was trying to take a bath and she busted out the flashy box. Can't a girl get some privacy?

In other news, Titus would like to thank everyone for his Gotcha Day wishes. We are so lucky to have such great furriends!

Happy Gotcha Day, Titus!

Today is his 8th Gotcha-versary. (We have a feeling he's going to be getting lots of smooches and hugs today.)

You are the best white dawg ever! Thank you for being such a special boy and for picking us to be your family. We love you.

Mancat Monday

So Dad brought home this really sweet cat tower on Friday. It's super tall and has four hidey holes and it's super fun to climb. Plus I can chillax on the top and look super adorable and then The Mom will walk by and give me a tummy scritch and I can bunny kick her and give her the bitey. It's super cool. The Mom also sprinkled primo nip all over it and hid toys and treats in there so that we'd be surprised when we found them. She was a pretty cool The Mom this weekend - as far as The Moms go. Anyway, me and Tazo got super nipped out and googly-eyed and stuff this weekend. It rocked. This is a picture of me being super nice to her and cleaning her furs. And then right after this, I whapped her on the head and put the bitey on her. heh heh

Mancat Rule of the Day: Look super cute and be super nice to your sister and your The Mom so that you can whap them when they least expect it.

Froot Bat Friday

Yesterday was a super good day. Mom was home all day. We had jammie day and napped and cuddled and I froot batted like crazy. (Until she got out the flashy box - then I stopped. But she tricked me by getting Dad to give me ear scritches which made me froot bat and she caught me off guard.) Any way, it was a perfect day except that *someone* kept trying to chomp on my ears. That was not so perfect. But at least he got yelled at and I got extra cuddles.
Happy Weekend!

Thursday Thirteen - Edition 65

Here are Thirteen Things that Hurl Grey (and not Earl Grey) has done this week:

1. Knocked a box of Lucky Charms into Titus' waiting mouth
2. Watched as Titus ate 50 salmon oil pills and didn't tell The Mom about it until after he ate them
3. Put the bitey on The Mom when she and EG were having cuddle time
4. Played jingle ball at 2:30 am
5. Put the bitey on a delicious pink ear
6. Put the bitey on a delicious, skinny dawg ankle
7. Stoled a bunch of chicken and rice that Dad made for Titus
8. Askeered the doody out of the cable guy
9. Refused to cuddle with The Mom for 4 days in a row
10. Stalked Titus and Tazo
11. Clawred The Mom when she picked up EG
12. Hid in a shopping bag and jumped out at Tazo
13. Led a rousing game of Thundering Herd of Elephants at 5:30 on Saturday morning

This evil twin thing is awesome.

Mwahahahahahaha

An Award

We gotted this award from Sniffie and Co over at Friends FurEver. Thanks, guys! You make our day, too.

Mancat Monday

Mancat Rule of the Day: It is very mancatly to watch over some delicious, pink ears your big brother when he's got tummy troubles.

In case your The Moms weren't on Facebook all weekend, like some The Moms I know, Titus hadded to go to the v-e-t on Friday. The Mom came home for lunch and he was shivering a lot and running around the house and generally freaking out. Which freaked out The Mom because Titus is as chill as they come. So she called the v-e-t because she thought he might be having a seizure or something from all the sugar in the box of Lucky Charms. The v-e-t told The Mom to bring him right in. The good news is that his bloodwork showed his blood sugar to be perfect (which shocked The Mom and Dr P). He had a couple of lower values, but Dr P said that that was consistent with indiscriminant competitive eating. He cried when she poked his tummy and so she took some xrays. The xrays showed that his intestines were a little angry, so he got some carafate and some flagyl and he gets to eat chicken and rice for a few days. (Oh, and while he was at the v-e-t's, all the girls who work in the back kept popping into the room to see "the Lucky Charms Dawg." He was quite popular.) So I've been watching over him all weekend and giving The Mom an extra bitey snuggle now and again. The poor thing's had a rough week. heh heh

In other news, thank you all for voting in my evil twin poll. I feel so much better now that he has a name. Welcome, Hurl Grey! Welcome to our home!!

In other, other news, tune in tomorrow. We're having a special guest blogger. We are so honored to be graced with this blogger's presence. We can't wait!
