Mancat Monday

So That Woman and I made up a little over the weekend. I had even started calling her The Mom again (which is a step up from That Woman, I think). However, last night, she got out of the chair and I could hear the blankies crackling with static against her jammies. She usually touches something else before she touches any of us. But this time? No. She touched my paw and there was a huge spark and I got mad and ran into the kitchen. She followed me and tried to apologize, but I wasn't having it. It's not my fault that I had dangle-y-paw syndrome going and that I'm just irresistibly cute. Don't shock me!

So this morning, she poured some kefir in a mug and when she turned around to put the bottle back in the fridge, I licked it. And licked it. And licked it until she turned around and noticed what I was doing. Take that, That Woman! heh heh By the way, kefir is pretty tasty.

So Momma hasn't totally been neglecting us. She ordered us our very own Christmas cards to send to our friends. They showed up on Saturday. If anyone would like one, please e-mail your snail mail address to thefurrykids AT gmail DOT com

  2. That's a shocking post! AAAHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
HooBoy, I crack me up! What is Kefir???
Anyway, Mommy has started calling the Lions the "Motor City Kitties." We think it's cute. And oh boy, bad words and unhappy gestures flowed around here 'cause the Bears lost right after the kitties and Daddy got all "Mr. Grumpypants" about the Bears and Mommy was still grumbling about the MCK's and geez, I went and took a nap...

Maybe you could scan it and we could print it out and save you some postage, which is getting to be ridiculous these days.

  6. Good job stealing a bit of human stuff. My Awesome Man always touches the switch plate before touching me. He's smart. He knows just how to ground himself whereas the Woman has no clue.

  11. Oops, meant to add: We usedta get electizapped by The Big Thing in Winter, but he installed some water thing that stopped that. It was kinna cool that he could turn on some lamps dimly jus by touchin them, but we got real twitchy about the litte zaps when he petted us.

I'm glad you and your mom are making up. But I'm sorry she static-zapped you! Our Mom has static-zapped us Ballicai, too. Our furs get static charged and she really has to watch when she pets us that we don't get a ZAP!

I've told her, Mom, if I get a ZAP, then YOU get a WHAP!

    HEE!

Love and cuddles and whiskie-kisses from Dorydoo!
