Question

Why is it that cat spit is so much drier than dawg spit? If Titus licks his foot, his furs get wet. If me or EG licks our feets, our furs stay dry. Maybe we have special spits like Daisy (because she has curly spit).

This is a very perplexing question. I'll think about it during my nap.

  1. Hmm...but Chase's spit is very wet. If he licks me I get WET but my spit and Kaze's spit seems to be more dry. Maybe Chase is really a woofie?? (Don't tell him I said that.....)

  5. I think cat spit is special spit. My spit smells sweet, and kind of soap-y. My Mommie likes to smell my spit after I have groomed my furs. This is very weird.

I wonder if I groomed you, if my spit would make your furs curly?

  6. I think... well, that our spit can be wettish, but it is those little combs on our tongues that make us dry quicklyyyy... uh, because we slurp up the wetness.
    that is my guess

  8. That's a really good kweschun, but my Momma's noticed the same thing about us Ballicai when we've groomed ourselfs -- we smell really really good! So cat spit must be like magical spit or somethin'!

  11. That is a very good question, Tazo. Maybe it's because cat's tongues have all those little barbs on them?

  12. Tazo, clearly the answer to your perplexing question is "because cats are superior in every way to dogs" Just thinking about dog slobber makes me shudder. Ewwwww!
