I was sporting the perfect froot bats last night. Except Mom's camera wouldn't work. She missed a perfect froot bat opportunity. hehe

What the Paw?!?! Wednesday
You may be wondering what the paw this is. Well, let me tell you. It's shedding season for me, so Mom's been plucking
PS - I've had a couple of furriends ask if it hurts to be "plucked." It doesn't. See, I have a double coat and a couple of times a year, I shed it. The undercoat (which keeps me insulated) sort of loosens up and works its way toward the outer layer of furs. If you look at me from certain angles, you can see that the furs look different and those are the ones that get "plucked." Mom and Dad think it's super fun to see who can pluck the biggest tuft of furs from my 'tocks. That's the annoying part. All they really need to do is brush me (which I love!), but they say it's not nearly as fun. Whatever. Again, I'm asking: anybody wanna trade Moms?

Tazo Tuesday
So last night, I was snoozing on my new bed which is super comfy (see picture above - hee hee). I was warm and relaxed and minding my own bizness. Then Mama comes running down the hall and scoops me up. I get all purr-y and think we're going to cuddle or something. But no! She runs me into the family room, sits me down on the couch arm, and points to the wall. There's a spider and she needs a PBK*. So I get to work and take care of bizness for her. She was grateful, though not grateful enough to hand out treats.(grrrr) I mean, it was fun and all, but I would still rather be napping. Or having a treats.

Mancat Monday
We, The Furry Kids, had a pretty quiet weekend. Only one roaming cat sighting and I only gotted mildly hissed off. The Mom, on the other hand, is still on edge. Something about she doesn't trust us alone and something else about she saw me sneak a chomp on a skinny dawg ankle, and so her and Dad (BUT MOSTLY HER) are hovering. Isn't that called helicopter parenting or something? So I spent lots of time cleaning my machine. Because it's super important to keep a clean machine. And because that's pretty much the only time she leaves me alone any more. Anybody need a super anxious, hover-y The Mom? I've got one available for cheap. Just sayin'.

Thursday and We're-Not-Inviting-Hurl Today
Things seemed to have chilled out here. HG *may* have returned to his normal, mischievous self instead of his super eeebil awful self. But we are not going to jinx it. Tune in tomorrow for some froot bats. Hopefully.

What the Paw?!?! Wednesday
You may be wondering what the paw happened to this guy's feets? If you think that HG chewed them off, you would be correct.

Tazo Tuesday
If you think that I gotted chin scritches, you would be right.
In other news, Mama's still fighting roaming cat crime. She hasn't seen that cat since Saturday. We're hoping maybe he has moved along. EG's calmed down some, but Mama's still being super cautious, especially at night when it's dark and she can't see if there's an intruder out there. We're crossing our paws that he's gone.

Mancat Monday
The weekend started out kinda rough. I had to go to the v-e-t on Saturday. The Mom wanted to make sure everything was ok with me because I had such a bad week. The wonderful Dr P looked me over real good and then she and Dad and The Mom talked lots about what might be going on with me and why I'm taking it out on Titus. They decided that for now they were going to treat it as me getting agitated by the roaming neighborhood cats. Dad and The Mom went out Saturday night and bought more feliway diffusers and some spray for the yard. She sprayed the front yard with this citronella/garlic spray all around where she'd seen those roaming cats. But The Mom was still freaking out because she wasn't 100% sure what was going on.
But then, we got a break in the case! Saturday night, Dad opened the door to let Titus out before bed and immediately slammed the door shut. There was a giant cat lying on the patio RIGHT BY THE DOOR. INSIDE the fence. So The Mom locked me in the litterbox room AGAIN and she went outside. The cat had moved to the outside of the fence, but he was still hanging around. The Mom grabbed the squirt bottle and started squirting the cat and he wouldn't leave! He just walked under her car and laid there, staring at her. She kept blasting him with water and he wouldn't budge. She finally got him to move farther down the driveway and then came in the house. I was real HISSED OFF, so we all had to be separated for the night.
Yesterday, The Mom was talking to Aunt Jen and she suggested that since that cat has been so close to the house, Titus is probably picking up strange cat smell on him when he's outside doing his bizness and then bringing it into the house which is really hissing me off. Plus, The Mom is now convinced that he's eating that strange cat's kitty box crunchies out of the flower bed. Which is contributing to the strange cat smell he's bringing in the house.
So Dad and The Mom are working hard to keep those roaming cats away from Casa de Furry Kids and they're spraying all kinds of feliway all over the furniture and we're just hoping that those cats leave us alone soon. It's kinda fun to be hissed off once in a while, but I'm getting real tired of being hissed off all the time. Go away, roaming cats! Go away!!!

Froot Bat Friday
I did not have an official photo shoot this week because my froot bats have been very stressed out. They pretty much look like this:
So Mom decided to head to the archives. This is one of her favorites. Hope you guys like it, too.
Happy Weekend, everybuddy!

Thursday is Hurl's Day
Tazo here. Apparently, this week, Thursday is not the only day Hurl Grey has taken over. It's been a really long week. He's been here for days. Mama's upset, Titus is upset, and I've even hissed at HG a few times. He's eating and drinking and doing the right kind of 'tocks stuff. Mama hasn't found any pukes or anything. But he just keeps trying to beat up on Titus. There's a cat that roams the 'hood and comes right up to the house. Mama thinks maybe that's hissing him off. Even though it didn't seem to bother him last fall when it was hanging around. Can a potential hairball make you cranky? Do kittehs get spring fever? So far Mama has drenched the house in Comfort Zone spray and is keeping us separated as needed. She's considering scruffing him and hissing like a mama cat. (She's been practicing her hiss in the shower. It's not good.) I've even heard the v-e-t word mentioned. Mama says she needs a cat whisperer. Or a vacation. Or adult beverages. I've been purring on her, but I think she needs a few more. If you've got any spare purrs or suggestions, could you please send them her way? I really appreciate it.

What the Paw?!?! Wednesday
So we were looking through Mom's camera last night and found some super disturbing pictures. We would love to know WHAT THE PAW is going on! Sammy, I think we need your expertise!
This sure looks like an alien to me.
AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!
Giant alien heads???
The aliens apparently have stolen a car. This is terrifying!
WHO IS THAT GUY AND WHAT IS HE DOING WITH OUR THE MOM?!?!?!?!?! Have they gotten to her? Her shirt says "Obey Me." We're askeered. And we sure are wondering what makes her think a stoopid shirt is going to make us obey. That purple guy even visited us at home. He gave EG poofy tail, so you know he's bad news. EG almost *never* gets poofy tail. Mom looks way too happy with that guy. Something's going on for sure.
Mom says that it was no big deal. A bunch of weirdo runners get together once a year to celebrate a Martian invasion or something. It sure sounds like a big deal to us. Those guys are askeery looking!

Mancat Monday
Don't I look angelic? It is because I am. Of course, I didn't stay up all night again. That would be so, so wrong. heh heh
Mancat Rule of the Day: Look innocent. No matter what. And well- placed, angelic-looking lighting doesn't hurt either.

Froot Bat Friday
She tried to get me to pose. But she was holding treats and I couldn't sit still. Treats are yummy, you know, So after juggling treats and her camera phone thingy and trying to get me to sit still, she just took a picture. It's not the greatest, but check out the froot bats. And, I only got one "gimme some froooot baaaaat." All in all, it was a pretty good night.
Happy weekend, everybuddy!

Thursday is Hurl's Day
This morning That Woman started getting ready for work. She walked into the bathroom, flipped on the light, and headed over to the shower. She pulled back the shower curtain and then screamed - which reminded her quite a bit of a scene from A Movie That Askeers the Bee-doody Out of Her - because she saw this:
Mwahahahahahahaha...
***Updated: And look what That Woman just found while perusing the interwebs. Norman Bates and a kitteh!

(Not at All) Wordless Wednesday
Well, another one of our mousies bit it. Somedawg went a little crazy and shredded him. How do we know who the culprit is? He returned to the scene of the crime...

Tazo Tuesday
Mama gotted us some cat grass a couple of weeks ago. She took it to work to help it grow because she thought that we might not leave it alone for the time it took to grow to be nommy. She was wrong. hee hee
I wanted nothing to do with it. It smelled like OUTSIDE and OUTSIDE is askeery. I wouldn't even pose next to it for a Tazo Tuesday shot. I think it might be made of bananers.
The boys liked it a little better. EG sniffed it a little and took a small taste. Titus sniffed it lots and Daddy thought that maybe he was going to "mark" it. hee hee But he didn't.
Here is a picture of EG tasting it. Please note the delicious, pink ear in the corner. Mama giggled lots when she saw that.
Do you guys like cat grass?

Mancat Monday
The good news? Titus didn't nom the Easter Bunny. The bad news? The Mom brought no HAM home from Easter Dinner at Gramma's and Papa's. It may be a long week for her. HG is NOT happy.

Froot Bat Friday
Here I am getting a headbonkie from Tazo. We wanted to play lion tamer (you know, where she puts her whole head in my mouth), but Mom sort of freaks about that.
Here's the only froot bat that she got this week. She didn't cough up a treat. I didn't cough up the froot bats. That's how it works.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Thursday is Hurl's Day
The full moon this month was wonderful! I stayed up all night for three nights in a row, leading up to the big night. There was a fair amount of biteys, bunnykicking, delicious, pink ear chomping, skinny dawg ankle tasting, rassling cage matches on top of That Woman, and THoE. Take notes, kittehs. Full Moon Fever* is awesome.
Mwahahahahahahahaha...
*Yes, That Woman loves this guy.
