Mancat Monday

We, The Furry Kids,  had a pretty quiet weekend.  Only one roaming cat sighting and I only gotted mildly hissed off.  The Mom, on the other hand, is still on edge.  Something about she doesn't trust us alone and something else about she saw me sneak a chomp on a skinny dawg ankle, and so her and Dad (BUT MOSTLY HER) are hovering.  Isn't that called helicopter parenting or something?  So I spent lots of time cleaning my machine.  Because it's super important to keep a clean machine. And because that's pretty much the only time she leaves me alone any more.  Anybody need a super anxious, hover-y The Mom?  I've got one available for cheap.  Just sayin'.

  1. No thanks, we've got one, too. So you chomped on a skinny dawg leg? That's a good one. I only hiss at our dawg.

  2. No thanks! We also have one at home. Sometimes she gets tired of it all and throws up her hands and ignores us, though. We haven't killed each other yet. ;-)

  6. Good to hear that all quiet is at the House. Daddy is the problem here, could we pack him up with your Mom and send them off somewhere? Like Worrywarts Anonymous.

  7. We understand about the hovering moms - our does that sometimes too. We are glad that the intruder cats are not coming as much so you don't get hissed off. But we totally understand why you would!

  8. EG, you need to have a good week, and that means no ears, no legs, no tails - just keep working on your own machine.
