No Mancat Monday picture today. We lost power at Casa de Furry Kids yesterday morning and it's still out. The Mom was ok with it until she woke up this morning and it was 44° in the house and we still had no power. Then she got really, really crabbilated. We're hoping that it comes back today. The wrath of The Mom against DTE will not be pretty.
Mancat Rule of the Day: It is very manly to cuddle with your beans when it's chilly. It is also very manly to put up with them checking your ears constantly to see if you have frozen ears of corn. (Um, yeah, we do, The Mom)
oh no - we hopes that you gets your power back soon!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrr! I'm sorry it's so brry cold at your house. Do you have a fireplace? Snugglefest!
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry you have no power! We gots some if you wanna come over!
ReplyDeleteYikes! Hope the power comes back soon!
ReplyDeleteWe hope your power comes back on soon. We know what it is like to have no power, and it is no fun.

That is just awful! We hope you get power back soon!
ReplyDeleteMom says that put her in the way back machine and dropped her off at a time when she lived in New HAMpshire and Mr X (who wasn't Mr X yet) just up and quit his job! They were so poor they couldn't pay attention and that meant they couldn't refill the oil tank to heat the house. It was 45 degrees in the house and Mom was very, very crabilated at Mr X. You should never be able to see your breaths inside your house. Ever.
Oh yikes! I remember last year when our furnace broke and we were freezing! I hope the power comes back on sooner than soonishly!
ReplyDeleteEEEEK! 44 is chilly!
ReplyDeleteI hope by the time you read this, your home is warm again!
Sending Sibe Fur your way!

That is NOT fun. We had that happen a few years ago and it reminded me of when we lived in the shack in the woods and I had to snuggle with the Woman who I called "mom" back then because I was fricking freezing and she had a down blanket.

ACK! I'm so sorry you lost power, Earl! 44 sounds really really chilly. I love heat. Mom calls me the Heat Seeking Ballicus! I hope you get your power back soon, and in the meantime, please teleport over and we'll find us a warm place to snuggle! *grin*
ReplyDeleteLove and cuddles -- and lots and lots and lots of whiskie kisses!
Freezity freeze freeze freeze! I hope you got your power back. Even with fur coats that's pretty nippy!
ReplyDeleteNo power is hopless~~~
ReplyDeleteI hope your power could be back in no time!!!
Stay together very tight to keep it warm!
Yikes! That is not good!!!! We are thankful for our woodstove when things like that happen! The PM hates chopping up kindling wood but the heat is nice and worth the effort when the power goes out!!
ReplyDeleteHope you are toasty warm soon!!
