Mancat Monday

Mancat Rule of the Day: When it's medicine time, it's perfectly acceptable to hide. Because if you can't see them, they can't see you. I think avoiding eye contact might work, too. I'll let you know how it goes.

So here's the 'tocks update. The V-E-T called The Mom on Saturday with the results of our diarrhea panel super special poo test. Tazo is in the clear - she tested negative for everything. I tested negative for giardia (wahoo!), but then I turned around and tested positive for clostridium, which is a bacteria that hangs out in your GI tract and can cause 'tocks trouble. So I'm on another 10 days of flagyl and now I have clavamox, too. Which the V-E-T says can cause 'tocks troubles, too. Holy cats, let's hope that doesn't happen. Oh, and The Mom still has to change out our litter every day. heh heh

PS - Mancat Stock Tip of the Day: Buy stock in Swheat Scoop and Kitty's Wonderboxes in the next couple of weeks. I've got some inside information that both companies are going to see an increase in sales. heh heh

In other, other news, Aunt Jen is still in the hospital. Her arm is still infected and they don't know what kind of germ did it. She's getting lots of aunty biotics and they're taking good care of her. But we just wish that she would heal up so she could go home. Her kitty, Molly, really misses her lots.

  6. EG, I am wondering if that 'tocks trouble is what the woofie Jake has right now. It's been almost 2 full weeks and he's been tested and its come back neg. Yet he still has that runny pooh. Though it does make the mom sound funny when Jake has an accident on the floor! heh

  35. I hope you and your Aunt Jen both get well very soon. Hiding from your medicine may sound like a good idea, but you need to take it to get well. I know it's yucky, but it's just for a little while.

  36. Doodz. Like when we had the clostridium issues, it would pass from cat to cat over like a 2 day period so that all cats weren't dooin' it at once. Although it was disgusting...
