Froot Bat Friday

Sorry we haven't been around for the last couple of days.  Things have been kinda rough around here this week and Mom and Dad have been spending lots and lots of time with us. HG showed up the other night again and went after me.  It was pretty bad.  Tazo even gotted all upset and was attacking HG *and* me.  Or maybe she was defending me.  We're not sure and she's not talking.  Anyway, Dad and Mom went into superhero mode and rescued me.  I ended up with just a little scratch on my snout.  Mom ended up with a bad bite from well, she doesn't even know who did it.  She even hadded to go to the v-e-t and get aunty-bye-otics.

Mom and Dad think that some stuff they left on the patio for a couple of days got roaming-cat stink on it (because one of the roaming cats still hangs out at our house all.the.time).  Then when they brought the stink in the house, it set off HG big time.  So Mom and Dad took the stuff back outside and tried to de-stink the house.  We're thinking it's kinda working - the twins seem to be feeling better and not so agitated.  We've still got the Feliway diffusers going and Mom's been spraying Feliway spray on the twins' favorite places.  Mom's even feeling bad for HG because she knows he's so upset.

This is a pretty accurate depiction of Mom's face when HG showed up again. (And yes, that is The Office on the TV in the background. hehehe)

This is a delicious, pink ear.  No delicious, pink ears were harmed this week.

And here are some froot bats for your Friday.  Mom calls this my sultry look.  I do not know why.  I was concentrating on the piece of pita bread that she had in her hand which did NOT find it's way into my mouth, by the way.

Happy Friday and we hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. That is too bad that HG showed up because of those roaming cats. Is there some sort of spray or something that maybe you can use outside to keep the strays away - we don't know if they make it (we have seen things like that for deers and stuff so we were thinking maybe there is one for cats). It is good that everyone is calming down now but it stinks that EG gets so upset that HG shows up. We are crossing our fingers and paws that those roaming cats stop showing up at your house - they need to find a new hang out!

  15. We're really sorry to hear about all this. Tama gets hugely upset when one of the neighbour cats gets too close to the run, and will then attack anything that moves. But I have always managed to be elsewhere.

    Great photos of you, Titus.

  20. Those roaming cats should stay home! We should know, as a certain roaming feline in heat showed up at our back door last Sunday. She is now a "foster" and is sequestered in the foster room. Grrrrrreeeeeeeehhh.
