Froot Bat Friday Flashback
The Mom here. Tazo, EG, The Furry Kids' Dad, and I would like to thank everyone for all of the thoughts and purrs and woofs and kind words over our loss. It has been a really rough time here lately at Casa de Furry Kids. We know that Titus is at the Bridge with all of his furriends and his sister, Shadow, and that helps us feel a little bit better. I'm sure they're all having a great time and I bet he's getting all of the snacks he wants. But back here at home, we sure do miss our guy. His Dad and I are plugging away, trying to keep things as normal as possible for Tazo and EG, and putting one foot in front of the other. We talk about him all of the time and I still catch myself changing the lyrics to songs on the radio to something Titus-related and belting out a song. The funny thing is that I had never had a boy dawg before and I *hated* white dawgs. Then this white, floofy, little 42 pound froot bat popped into our lives and completely changed my mind. As soon as I saw his picture, I knew he was our boy. We are just so grateful that he picked us to be his pawrents and we really enjoyed the time that we were able to have him in our lives. He really was a special boy. Thank you all for letting us share him with you. On that note, we've decided to do some Froot Bat Friday Flashbacks for a while, so here we go.
I think this is Titus' very first froot bat post (originally posted April 20, 2007)
Can dawgs be froot bats? Sometimes my ears look a tad froot batty.
PS - I guess I should post a Public Service Announcement about Dawgs (or Woofies in layman's terms). It has come to my attention that not all kitties know about Dawgs. Although I get along with Tazo and Earl Grey just fine, some dawgs, or woofies, do not care for kitties. In fact, some can be more vishus than vishus deer. Which is really bad. In the interest of public safety, I would just like to convey that you all should treat all stranger dawgs/woofies as though they are not kitty friendly. Or at least make sure you are accompanied by an adult human if you have to go near them. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Froot Bat Friday
Our hearts are heavy at Casa de Furry Kids. Titus had to be unexpectedly helped to the Bridge yesterday. We're super sad, but we know he's up there chasing squirrels and eating delicious snacks and bunny-napping bunnies and hanging out with his sister, Shadow, and all of his furriends who came before and *not* having to listen to anyone saying, "Gimme some froooooootbaaaaaaat." We love you, Boney. Thank you for choosing us to be your family.
Titus
