Thirteen Things About Me
by Titus Theodore

1. I have a very cute pink nose and cute pink ears.

2. I am cuddly.

3. Momma says the top of my head smells like a chicken coop, but she really likes it.

4. Momma says my feet smell like Fritos and she's always sniffing them.

5. I don’t bark very much – only when someone comes to the door.

6. I’m a good hunter of squirrels and bunny rabbits.

7. I’m a good eater, except leafy greens freak me out. I'll eat them, but I don't gobble them up right away. I just roll them around in my mouth and spit them out a couple of times. After a while, they're spitty enough to just slide right down my throat.

8. I love to lay on the couch with Momma and Daddy and watch TV. I take one one of the cushions and Momma and Daddy share the other cushion. I think that's more than fair.

9. My birfday is on Valentines Day.

10. I don’t like to wear clothes. If Momma puts a shirt on me, I can’t move a muscle. I’m paralyzed until she takes it off me. It's very annoying to have to wear clothes.

11. My favorite color is blue.

12. I’m really good in the car. I just curl up in my spot (backseat – behind the driver’s seat) and sleep until we get to wear we’re going.

13. I love to go for walks. Momma just bought me a new harness - it's blue!

Thirteen Things About Me
by Tazo Tea Gizmo

1. Momma took one look at me and knew that my name should be Tazo (but she did keep the name the other people gave me – Gizmo). My full name is Tazo Tea Gizmo.

2. My name was almost Barkley because when Momma first saw my picture she thought it looked like I had bar codes on my front legs.

3. My birth momma’s name is Buttons. Well, she's Earl Grey's mom, too, but I'm trying not to think about that today since I'm mad at him cuz he put the bitey on me last night.

4. I am a PBK (professional bug killer) and I take my business very serious.

5. I have a mark on my side that looks like a mushroom, so Daddy calls me Mushroom Kitt’en sometimes.

6. I curl up in bed with Daddy every morning. I lay on Momma’s side of the bed.

7. I have a really loud motor and it always makes Momma smile.

8. I like to have alone time in the evening. It’s my time to lay on the couch that I’m not supposed to be on and think deep thoughts.

9. I love Taco Bell nachos.

10. I want to taste Momma and Daddy’s food but it kind of scares me when they offer me a taste.

11. I love to play with flashlights and laser beams.

12. I have never met a hidey box I didn’t like – they are so much fun to play with.

13. I went outside once and it was really scary. But Momma saved me and made everything all better.

Thirteen Things About Me
by Earl Grey Phillip(e)

1. It’s spelled Grey – not Gray. Don’t forget.

2. I wear a Grey tuxedo. That's "GREY", not "gray."

3. I supervise everything that goes on in the house.

4. I can be quite bitey.

5. I love to lay on the floor and look really adorable and show my belly and then when someone rubs my belly I bite and scratch them. Mwahahahaha

6. Mom had a hard time naming me. She always thought that Tazo would be a boy type name, but then Tz looked like a Tz. She ruled out Chai right away – too girly. She also thought Numi was too girly. Then she decided that Earl Grey would be perfect for me.

7. I like to climb in any available cabinet, whether or not I'm supposed to be in there.

8. I like to chase Tz around the house and put the bite on her.

9. I looooove jingle balls. I have about 20 of them stashed around the house.

10. I love to watch the water in Mom and Dad’s litter box. Sometimes I play in it, even though Mom yells at me.

11. I am very careful about litter box issues. I have to have everything covered – even if it’s not in the box. And even if it doesn’t belong to me.

12. The ‘nip makes me happy.

13. I want to be an outside cat, but Mom won’t let me. She always says, “Better inside and fat than outside and flat.”

Pictures

Tz says:

Momma’s been taking a lot of pictures of us lately. I just wish she would hurry up and post them. I’d do it for her if she showed me how. I promise I won’t chew the camera cord. I promise!

Momma's Tired

T says:

I did *not* rat you out, EG. You got yourself busted.

Momma’s been so grumpy lately. I know she’s tired. I really want to go for a walk, though. I know she’ll take me one of these days. She got me a new harness. It’s blue – my favorite color! Momma knows exactly what I like.

Frustration

EG says:

I’ve been trying and trying to get outside this week. Those hairless, two legged creatures (I will not call them Mom and Dad at the moment – I’m too mad) won’t let me go outside. That girl one said she saw two kitty friends running down the street last night and it made her sad because it’s too cold. I don’t know why she won’t let me out. I crouch really small next to the door when I hear their keys jangling. Then I try to make a break for it when they open the door. They’ve busted out that spraying thing again. But I’m on to them. I just squint my eyes and keep running. That girl said that she’s going to have to chip me if I keep it up. I don't know what that means, but I do like potato chips a lot. One of these days, I’m going to make it outside. Maybe I should get a stroller?

In other news, that girl busted me and Tz. We’ve been stashing stuff in our prison box. I made the mistake of running in there while she was standing next to the prison box. She bent down to peek at me and saw our stash. She saw that we swiped T’s new birthday piggy and new birthday ice cream cone. Drat! She didn't say anything, but she made that guy peek in there, too. I bet T tattled on me.

The Birfday Recap

T says:

My birfday rocked! Momma came home and sang birfday songs to me and gave me extra scratches. Then we went out and she shoveled snow and I laid on the patio and watched her. Then Daddy came home and we opened presents. I got a pink piggy that squeaks, a scary skull rope toy, a stretchy cow that has real good floppability, and a squeaky ice cream cone. Momma took lots of pictures of me and my toys. Hopefully she’ll help me post them soon.

After Momma and Daddy ate dinner, we all laid on the couch and watched a movie. It was fun. Then Momma went to bed and I went with her to cuddle. EG didn’t come in there so it was just me and Momma. It rocked!

Oh, and Daisy (I think she might be Skeezix’s special friend) said Happy Birfday to me. It was so cool. Most kitties don’t want to talk to dawgs. But I’m a nice dawg. Momma says I’m really good with EG & Tz.

EG says:
I got outside last night. I made it almost three feet out the door before Dad grabbed me. Grrr. There was this white stuff all over the patio. It was cold and wet, but I still rolled on my back. Whatever. I just want to go outside.
Oh, and we got a jingle ball. It’s green and purple and I love it, but don’t tell Mom and Dad. I try to be cool about that stuff.

Tz says:
Momma came home and then went back outside. She was doing something in the driveway with a big stick that had an orange plate thing at the bottom. Everything is covered in white cold wet stuff. I got that stuff on my feet once last year. I didn’t like it. It made me really a-skeered. I jumped straight up in the air and then I ran to the edge of the house and back and then jumped straight up in the air again. I did that a bunch of times until Momma caught me during my jump and took me back in the house to safety. It was really a-skeery. Momma held me for a long time after that because I was a-skeered and shaking. Momma’s cool like that. So I don’t want nothing to do with that white stuff. I was afraid Momma would get a-skeered, too, but she had that big stick thing with her and she was muscling her way through that white stuff. When she came back in the house she had that white stuff all over her boots so me and EG took turns licking it off. It tasted ok, but it was pretty cold.

Momma got me and EG another jingle ball. We took turns playing with it, but then EG rolled it under the couch. I wasn’t ready for him to stash it in our hidey spot just yet.

Momma gave Daddy a Valentime’s Day present and guess what? It came in a big box. Momma took all the stuff out and left it out for us to play in. Me and EG put T’s new piggy and ice cream cone in it. It made Momma laugh when she woke up this morning. Momma also took tons of pictures of me in the box. Because she says I’m so cute. Hopefully she’ll help us post those pictures soon. I want everyone to see our new box. She was trying to get pictures of EG, but he wouldn’t cooperate – whatever that means.

Happy Birfday to Me!

T says:
Here's the story about my birfday. My Gotcha Day was 2/10/01 and the people that I lived with before said that I was about a year old. So Momma made my birfday on Valentines Day because I'm white and pink and lovey. See how pink and white and lovey and Valentine-y I am?
I'm 7 years old today. Dogster sent me a Happy Birfday email. I can't believe they remembered my birfday! They are so cool. I can't wait until my party. Last year I got a stuffed pig and oinked. It was very cool. I chewed a hole in it and pulled all its guts out.
Time to sing:
Happy Birfday to me!
Happy Birfday to me!
Happy Birfday to meeeee!
Happy Birfday to me!

If you didn't like that song, try this one:

Birthday by the Beatles

You say it's your birthday
It's my birthday too--yeah
They say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

Yes we're going to a party party
Yes we're going to a party party
Yes we're going to a party party.
I would like you to dance--birthday
Take a cha-cha-cha-chance-birthday
I would like you to dance--birthday
Dance
You say it's your birthday
Well it's my birthday too--yeah
You say it's your birthday
We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

Just Practicin'

T says:
Our Mommy is just doing a practice post for us. She is trying to navigate her way through all this Blogger stuff so that our blog isn't necessarily connected to hers all the time. She says some bad words on her blog and doesn't want us to read it and learn them.

EG says:
I already know all the bad words. I taught them to her.

Tz says:
What's a bad word?

Mmmm Soap

EG says:

I cuddled up with Mom to keep her warm for a little while last night. She was watching her soap opera. I don’t know why anyone would want to watch soap. It doesn’t do anything but just sit there. Now licking soap? That’s a whole different story, right there, yessiree. Ivory soap is just delicious. Mmmm

I chased Tz around the house for a while. She was playing with the catnip sushi and I just had to take it for myself. So I had to chase her up and down the hall for a while to distract her. Mom says we sound like a herd of elephants when we do that. I don’t know what elephants are, but they must be really cool because Mom says they’re grey like me.

Happy Tz-day!

Tz says:

Last night I watched the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on TV. It was so cool. Those Terriers look really cool. Momma said that they’re not as nice as T and that they might mistake me for vermin (whatever that is). I tried to paw at them like I do to T, but they were behind the glass in that big black box.

Daddy did the coolest thing yesterday. He put a big sheepskin thing on the hamper in the bathroom. It makes the coziest bed EVER. I’ve been sleeping in there for the last two days. It is so comfy. I just have to make sure that I get in there before EG does. He hogs all the good resting spots.

Hurty Toe

T says:
I hurt my toe last night. I don’t know how I did it. It was bleedy and hurty. Momma rubbed my belly and told me what a good boy I was. Daddy trimmed off the hangy part of my nail. Then I got some jerky treats. Yum! It’s still hurty, but I get lots of tummy rubs from Momma. She said she feels bad that she didn’t trim my nail enough to keep it from getting hurty.:(

Me and Momma cuddled last night in Momma and Daddy’s bed. It was warm and comfy. Then Daddy came to bed and I had to move. Grrr.

But guess what?! Guess WHAT?!!! Tomorrow is my birthday! Tomorrow is my birthday!
I can't wait. I'll be 7!

A Day in the Life on a Tuesday

T says:
Momma brought me and the twins some special toys the other night. She didn’t feel like putting up with the twins being all hopped up on the nip, so she hid them in the bathroom. The twins found them and ripped open the bag and spread the toys all over Dad while he was sleeping. The good thing is that he knows they did it. I would never do anything like that. Anyway she got me two stuffed toys – a plushy blue “glass” of soda and a plushy chocolate milkshake. They are very soft and have squeakers! EG keeps swiping my soda and carrying it around, but I love the chocolate shake. Me and Momma played chocolate milkshake last night for a long time. She would pretend to take away my milkshake and I would grab it and shake it like a crazy man. Then she kept trying to grab my booty while I was playing milkshake. It was a lot of fun.

Daddy made some chicken soup for supper last night. I helped. I hung out in the kitchen and made sure that the twins didn’t bother him. I was hoping that he would give me some soup when it was ready. He didn’t, but he did spill some on the floor last night. Me and EG licked it up. Tz tried to get some drops too, but Momma was afraid that I might growl at her, so she picked her up and carried her to the family room.

Then I layed on the couch with Daddy and watched TV. Then he let me outside to go potty. Man, it was freezy cold out there. Then when I came in, I got my bednight snack. It was good. Then I went to bed. It was cold and I slept in Momma and Daddy’s bed. I had to share with the twins, though. That bugs me sometimes. But they were pretty warm.

EG says:
I didn’t do too much yesterday. T says I opened the bag of toys. Whatever. Then he says I’m hogging his squeaky soda. Again, whatever. If he’s not playing with it, it’s fair game. I supervised Dad making soup. I guess he did a pretty good job. He wouldn’t give me any. I did get to sample a couple of drops after I tripped him and he spilled the soup. Momma went to bed pretty early, so I went in and earthwormed under the covers with her and supervised while she watched her shows.

Tz says:
Whew! I had a pretty busy day yesterday. I napped until Daddy got home. It was a good nap. Then I helped him make soup. I licked the bowls after they got done eating. We did a good job on that soup. Momma said it was way better than Daddy’s mom’s soup. Momma went to bed early, but I wasn’t ready to go yet, so we talked for a long time. I love it when we have our talks. I tell her about my day and she tells me about hers. It’s cool. She has talked to me ever since her and Daddy brought me home. I don’t know where she learned to speak kitty, but she’s real good at it. After we got done talking, I still wasn’t ready for bed. I decided to hone my PBK skills for a while (that’s Professional Bug Killer for anybody who doesn’t know). I’m the PBK at our house. It is so much fun. Sometimes Momma gets so scared by bugs that she has to wake me up from a nap to take care of business. I got to get her to understand that the bugs will be there when I wake up – she doesn’t need to worry about anything like that when I’m on the case. EG is the APBK (Assistant PBK). He thinks he’s the #1 PBK, but Momma says it’s me.

We were all cuddled in bed when Daddy came to bed. T was on Daddy’s side but at the bottom of the bed. Me and EG were sleeping on the back of Momma’s legs. Momma woke up when Daddy came to bed and she said that she had to use the litter box. So she got up (which meant that me and EG had to get moved from our very comfy sleeping spot) and went down the hall. I don’t know how she can use that litter box that her and Daddy have. It’s full of water – not wheat! Do you believe it? It’s fun to watch and EG likes to play in it, but I can’t imagine having to do my business in that thing. Eww. Anyway, when Momma got up to go to her litter box, and I took her spot on the bed next to Daddy. When she came back and saw me in her spot, she laughed. Momma climbed into her spot and Daddy pulled me over toward the middle of the bed and covered me up. I was so happy that I cuddled up between Momma and Daddy and purred and purred and purred. Momma loves when I do that because I have a really cool loud motor. EG doesn’t purr like I do. We fell asleep like that and then next thing I knew, Momma’s ringy thing was going off. That means it’s breakfast time.

See you later!
