The new dishwasher? It's awesome! When we first gotted it, it made lotsa weird noises and was kinda askeery. BUT it gets a lot warmer than the old one. It's awesome to warm the tummy furs on a cold winter night. It might just be a kitteh's best furriend.

Last night turned out to be a pretty good night for snacks. There was a lot of stuff dropped on the floor. Here I am trying to score some of Dad's cold spaghetti. The spaghetti didn't work out, but I did get an animal cracker, some chips, and part of a Dorito.

Daddy was eating cold ravioli last night (cheese ravioli - not MEAT ravioli, meat ravioli would be a whole different story!). He tried to get me to taste some - off of a fork! I gave that ravioli and that fork a dirty look. So Daddy set it on a plate for me. I still wasn't that thrilled with the ravioli. I batted it around a little and then it stuck to my foot so I ate it. Mama was shocked because there aren't many foods that I don't like. It's really good to keep the beans guessing. hee hee

I shredded some paper towels. And then I had to take a nap. The Mom thought she was being all sneaky and figured she could take a picture of me sleeping and get out of giving me treats.

But Dad (who always has my back) hooked me up with some delicious treats. I do not think that this is the most flattering picture of me, but I'm thankful that I do not have any bats in the cave, if you know what I mean. (That means boogers in my nose, just in case you don't know what I mean)

Tazo and Titus Tuesday

Daddy was still sick yesterday. This is a picture of me taking care of him. hee hee Mama doesn't think that this position looks very comfortable, but it's really not too bad. Please excuse my gooby eyeball.

I have been super duper hyper for the last few days. Here I am trying to get Titus to play with me. I like to rub on him and give him headbutts and do somersaults and flop around in front of him. He didn't want to play. I think he wanted to take a nap. Sometimes, he is a bit of a party pooper.

Here I am trying to get him to play Lion Tamer with me since Mama is still at work and can't tell us to stop. Unfortunately, Titus is very good about following the Feet and Tails Rule*, so he wouldn't play with me. Did I mention that he's a bit of a party pooper sometimes?

*The Feet and Tails Rule is a rule that Mama has for Titus if he happens to lose his patience with EG and me. He can only bite us on the feet or tails - because we can live a somewhat normal life without a foot or a tail. Daddy has a nice poem that he says sometimes to help Titus remember: "Tails and feet, everyone's neat. Tummy and head, everyone's dead." Mama doesn't really like that poem. hee hee

We had a busy weekend. Sort of. Dad was sick so me and Tazo and Those Delicious, Pink Ears had to take turns taking care of him. I need to get caught up on my naps as soon as he starts feeling better. Sheesh. I'm worn out.

In other news, Titus is feeling lots better and would like to thank everybuddy for the purrs and woofs. The froot bats are ~~back to their extreme tastiness~~ much perkier.

It was a pretty rough week here at Casa de Furry Kids. The Mom gived me some medicines last weekend to see if it would help this cough thing I've had for a while. It had a little bit of steroids in it. So I was kind of excited because I thought maybe I would get all burly and muscular. Except it maded me feel not good. So then she felt really super duper guilty. Which means that she ended up giving me tons of scritches. And treats (even a peanutbutter sammich!). I stopped taking the medicine (on the advice of our v-e-t, of course), and I'm feeling tons better. But I'm playing The Mom for all the treats that I can get my paws on.

This might be my very first mean look. See, I'm usually Mama's cuddly, lovey, purry girl. Except when I'm hanging with Daddy. Which is all the time. Because I'm a Daddy's Girl.

But see, Mama's been really slacking lately, so I had to show her how I felt. She hasn't helped us visit our furriends in like, furever. And she decided to take a blogging break last week, but she didn't manage to tell us any of that. We're about to mutiny. We tried to trade her in for a new model, but that didn't work. We thought about putting her on Craigslist, but we're a little askeered of Craigslist because we heard that sometimes there's crazy furless people doing nakey stuff on there. Maybe Freecycle? But we don't want to burden some poor, unsuspecting anipal with her. She claims she's "stressed" and "busy", but really, Mama. Whatefur. :sigh:

Since I managed to sneak on the computer, here's what's what. We really, really appreciate all the cards that we gotted over the last few weeks. (We gotted more cards than Mama and Daddy did. hee hee) We also wish everybuddy a super, duper 2012.

The Mom thought this was a cute picture of me because she's never seen me do that with my tail. I think she just wanted to take a picture while I was sleeping so she wouldn't have to give me treats. We had some stuff going on in our kitchen this weekend. Some dudes came over and stoled some of our cabinets and put some different ones in. Then some other dudes came back and brought us a new countertop. There was a ton of loud noises and strange dudes and words from the bad word list (courtesy of The Mom) going on. It required a lot of snoopervision, as you can see. It totally cut into my nap time. *BUT* I do like how Dad and The Mom picked a countertop that coordinates with my furs. Sometimes, they can be pretty considerate.

Dad calls this my Treehouse of Horror. Whatever. I just crawled in here because I was tired of Tazo whapping me in the head. Which she did all.weekend.long. Anyway, tonight is Howl-o-ween. It's The Mom's favorite holiday, mostly because of the (froot)bats, (black)cats, and pumpkins. (She doesn't get out much.) We gotted to watch this last night. I sat on her lap so she wouldn't be askeered. Because I'm manly like that.

We don't have any big plans for tonight. We're just going to do what we do every year: Titus is going to sniff the ~~loud, sticky people~~ trick or treaters that come to the door, I'm going to try to run outside at every opportunity, Tazo is going to hide under the bed, and Dad and The Mom are going to take turns handing out candy and trying to keep me and Titus in the house. Should be a super fun night. heh heh

Tazo (and Titus) on Tuesday: The Lion Tamer Edition

Titus and I were hanging out on the couch with Daddy, watching some feetsball on TV.

And then a rousing game of Lion Tamer* broke out! It's super fun. Sorry for the blurry picture, but Lion Tamer is an action-packed game. hee hee

And then back to watching the game.

We were lucky that we were hanging out with Daddy when the Lion Tamer game broke out. Mama always says, "We don't play Lion Tamer. Remember the Feet and Tails Rule**." She never lets us have any fun.

*Lion Tamer is a game that I like to play with Titus. I pretend I'm a lion tamer and I have to tame the very, very rare Froot Bat-Eared Dawg-Lion. And as a finishing move, I put my head inside the vicious beast's mouth. The only downside to this super fun game is that I get dawg spit on my head furs. Which is kinda slimy.

So, doods, here's the deal. Every day, The Mom gives me and Tazo a bowl of water just for us and then puts out a big bowl of water in the kitchen for those delicious, pink ears. I prefer to drink out of the big bowl, but I do not like drinking after those delicious, pink ears because there is always dawg drool in the bowl after. Recently, I've discovered that after Dad uses the litterbox, he leaves the lid up and there is an endless supply of cool, drool-less water, which is super delicious. Me and The Mom are now having a difference of opinion. See, I think that toilet water is cool and refreshing. She says toilet water is not for drinking and that she's not going to kiss me if I'm drinking out of the toilet. But just look at those lips. Aren't they absolutely kissable - toilet water or not?

Mancat Rule of the Day: It is super manly to stay hydrated. And toilet water is the nommiest.

Doods. Bad news. I think Mom got to Dad. He took this picture last night. And gave me no treats. And Mom was sort of bummed about my froot bats because she said they were Flying Nun Froot Bats (she prefers the more relaxed, out-to-the-side froot bats). But he said, "But he's smiling!" Then she said that maybe Dad could let me lick the milk from the bottom of his cereal bowl when he was done with it just to sort of coax out the relaxed froot bats and he wouldn't do it. Doods. I'm distraught. I don't even know what to do. I thought he was on my side. His excuse was that he thought I wasn't allowed to have people foods. And Mom said (thankfully!) that I get people foods on Thursday nights when I'm doing my photoshoots. ~~Now if only she would follow her own advice.~~ See what I'm dealing with here? It's tough.

Dad sent Mom this picture yesterday. But she knew it wasn't me right away. Sometimes she's a good Mom.

Apparently, Dad saw this guy riding around town and followed him into the BK parking lot (and uh, why didn't you bring me some BK Dad?!?!?! A plain hamburger would've been lovely!) Dad says he was pretty barky, and so not nearly as nice as me. I gotta say that this guy's got some pretty good froot bats.

Anyway, last night? TREATS! Tortilla chips! Yum! But I guess I got pretty excited because Mom had to hold on to the chips while Dad took the picture. I'm thinking I need to get Dad involved in more of my photoshoots. There seems to be more treats when he's around.

What the Paw?! Wednesday

So Mama woked up this morning and the first thing she saw was this:

At first glance, she thought it was some sort of fuzzy thing or trash or something. But then she stumbled upon this:

And she was all, "What the paw?" But then she thanked me for saving her from certain death. Because a giant cricket in the middle of the night is not good - they're very dangerous creatures. She did find a third leg a little bit farther down the hall, but she didn't take a picture of it. Whatever, Mama. I just know that she feels so much safer knowing that her little speckley PBK* is taking care of the house while she sleeps. And since I am a good sister, I would like to thank EG for his assistance in the take down of Mr. Cricket. He ~~makes me do all the work~~ always has my back in case the any of the bugs get out of control. And then he inspects them after I'm done with them to make sure that they're good and deaded.

Mama did mention that I should probably make sure of who or what my ~~victim~~ target is. She thinks that if I ever see this guy:

I should probably leave him alone. She claims he's not a threat or anything. I'll try, Mama. Sometimes, I just get in the zone and forget about everything else.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish our Dad a very Happy Birthday! He's a super good Dad, especially when he drops foods on the floor. We have lots of manly plans for today: napping, eating, watching ESPN, and I'll probably take another nap or five. Oh, and Dad will probably do some work while I nap, but he'll be sure to be quiet so that he doesn't wake me up. Because he's a good Dad.

I guess she thinks that if she takes pictures of me sleeping, then she doesn't have to ~~get her behind out of bed~~ give me treats. Nice try at the sneakiness, Mom.

Yesterday was our birthday. We're six now! The Mom is having a hard time believing it. She says it seems like just yesterday we were three pound baby kittens. And that we napped in the bathroom sink together and that Tazo was an expert jumper and I kept falling off the counters I was trying to jump on. I don't like to think about that part - I'm not sure it's all that manly when your sister can outjump you. Ahem. Anyway, here's a picture of us on the day we gotted gotcha'd.

Here is Tazo playing with our new fevver chickhens last night. They're pretty fun. The Mom couldn't get a non-blurry picture of me and the fevver chickhens. And I am not sure why there is a white dawg tail in this picture either.

We've had The Hots this week in the Mitten State. Mom and Dad haven't really been eating a whole lot, so the chances of them dropping something delicious on the floor are pretty slim. Here I am trying to get some of Dad's salad. Which is something that I do not find delicious, but that's how bad it's gotten in the treat department around here. In fact, it's gotten so bad that I even considered eating a piece of lettuce. Which at any other time would just be wrong wrong wrong. This dawg doesn't do leafy greens.

We hope everybuddy has a great weekend. We're just going to lay around this weekend and wait for The Hots to go away. It will look something like this:

Last week, Titus helped Mama clean the litterboxes again. And then, as usual, he gotted a case of the litterbox 'tocks. Let's just say Mama camed home for lunch on Friday and discovered that she was going to have to sacrifice the rug in the bedroom. hee hee She put the call out to Daddy to ask if he'd pick up another rug on the way home (since it's easier on Titus to have rugs on our super slippery floors). Daddy camed home with a new rug, and it is super awesome. EG thinks it's even super manly. hee hee

As for me, we've had a case of the hots here in the Mitten State. This is all I've been doing.

I find that snoozing on Daddy is really quite comfy. He complains about it being too hot, but whatever. I'm Daddy's little speckly girl and its where I belong.

I was chillaxing on the patio last night. It's easy to let your froot bats relax when they're not in danger of being chomped by HG. Because he is not allowed outside. And because he is grounded for life ever since his big adventure last week. Mom says I look very refined in this picture. I say I look kinda hissed off because she handed out NO treats for this photoshoot. When will she learn?

Doods! I had a super manly adventure last week. See, the front door didn't latch real good and it opened while Dad and The Mom were out. And I ranned outside! The Mom camed home from work and there were only two out of three Furry Kids at home. She thought maybe I was locked in a room somewhere since I have managed to close the door on myself during my house patrols. She looked all over the house and she didn't find me any where. According to my sources on the inside, she was freaking out. Then she noticed that the front door was open. That really freaked her out.

So here I am, outside in the 'hood, and having a great adventure. I thought I heard The Mom calling me, but I was kind of having a lot of fun, so I didn't pay too much attention. Then she pulled out all the stops and started rattling the kibble bag. No fair, The Mom. No fair. I couldn't resist the rattly goodness. I squawked at her and then ran over from the neighbor's house to get the kibble. It was a blast. The end.

EG, is that really the story? Really?

Ok, ok, Tazo. So that's not quite the whole story. The Mom camed home and the door was open and I was gone. She gotted really askeered and ranned around the house looking in all the hidey spots. Then she ranned around the back yard and looked for me, since when I do manage to run out the door, I usually only roll around on the patio. Then she looked in all the trees in the yard and called for me. She may or may not have been crying, and I may or may not feel kinda bad about that. She wented inside the house and grabbed the bag of kibble because it's the noisiest and rattliest and I love love love the sound of the kibble bag. She walked all over the neighbor's back yard because he has all kinds of bushy flowers and stuff that would be good hidey spots. She didn't see me back there so she kept calling me and rattling the kibble bag. I called to her once, but she wasn't sure since it was windy and hard to hear anything but the trees. She called louder and shook the bag and I squawked real loud and ran to her. But I was really askeered and poofy and I didn't recognize her at first. I even hissed at her. I feel kinda bad about that part. But she talked real quiet to me and dropped kibbles on the ground for me. And she did that all the way back to the house. By the time we got back home, Dad pulled in and helped calm me down. I gotted a little while in time out because I hissed at Tazo and she hissed at me and The Mom wanted everyone to calm down, so that she could make sure I didn't have any boo boos on me (I didn't). I eated a whole can of stinky goodness and I played with the ice cubes she put in the water bowl for me because it was super hot outside. That part was pretty fun.

This is me a little while after I gotted home, and boy, does that floor feel nice and cool on the old tummy furs:

The Mom keeps calling it, "EG's Big Adventure." I guess it's sort of like that other adventure movie that she likes a lot. But whatever. I mean, we both wear grey suits, but mine's a tuxedo and I think I look much more deb-oh-nair.

Mancat Rule of the Day: Even though it sounds like it's super fun, an outside adventure can get kinda askeery and it's probably better to just stay in the house. And it's probably not that manly to make your The Mom cry.

Doods! We're going to have to owe you some better froot bats. Mine are nervous. See, EG took a walkabout the other day. For some reason, the front door didn't latch and he ranned outside. When Mom came home after work, she was down to only two Furry Kids, which really freaked her out. I'll let him fill you in on Mancat Monday. Let's just say, he's home, he's safe, he's grounded, and he's in a bad mood. And when he's in a bad mood, he always goes for the froot bats. He claims that their deliciousness cheers him up, but whatever. I'm sorry, doods. This is all I've got right now. These froot bats can't even relax. Not even for treats.

So here is my crocodile toy from Skeezix and the Food Lady. He's crazy fun. I'm telling you. Grab this guy by the leg and shake, shake, shake. He whips around and flops and bops you in the head. Super fun! In fact, I was playing and playing with him until Dad dropped a graham cracker. Sorry, crocodile, graham crackers win every time.

Mom gotted me new treats last night. They are pretty nommy. (She did say "gimme some froooooot baaaaat" to me last night. But at least this time she had a handful of treats. Maybe she's learning.)

The treats are soooo nommy that I may have gotted a little excited. Mom fixed the picture for me. hehehehe

Skeezix and his Food Lady came to visit last week (as those delicious, pink Froot Bats told you on Friday). Look at this picture of two handsome mancats. It's almost too mancatly to handle, don't you think? I really like Skeezix and his Food Lady. The Food Lady knows all the good scritchy spots (like my ears and my cheeks and my 'tocks). I almost gotted her convinced to rub my belly, but The Mom warned her that its a trick and I would bunnykick her and give her the bitey. Whatever, The Mom. Anyway, as a welcome to The Mitten State present, I horked up a nice hairball just for her, but Dad got home and freaked out and cleaned it up before she got to our house. How rude is that? Now she thinks I'm a terrible host. :sigh:

In other news, me and Tazo hadded to go to the v-e-t on Saturday. We had our check ups and each gotted one shot in the booty. That part was not fun. It was nice to see Dr Tara again, though - she knows a handsome mancat when she sees one. Tazo hid in the carrier the whole time. I preferred to ~~hide~~ chillax under the chair instead.

OMD! You will not believe what happened at Casa de Furry Kids this week. We had two extra, super special visitors - The Food Lady and Skeezix! They were in town for some bizness stuff and they came to our house. It was soooo exciting! I never met real live innernet celebrities before, and Skeezix is like one of my froot bat idols!

They came over to our house and we talked and got petted and then we had a photoshoot. Let me tell you, Mom has nothing on The Food Lady. The Food Lady is a professional pet photographer - she knows all the tricks to make you look good and she even uses a real camera ~~like Mom used to before she got lazy and just started snapping pics with her phone~~. She talked real nice to me and didn't say "gimme some frooooooot baaaaaaat" even once ~~unlike somemom I know~~, and it was treat-o-rama. Which is a nice change of pace, even though I had to share treats with EG. Mom was trying to be the assistant, but she's not that great at that either, though I will give her props for her treat-throwing ability. Now that I know what she's capable of, my standards are going to be higher. Just a warning, Mom.

The Food Lady and Skeezix brought me a super cool crocodile guy. He's a puppet and he's got a squeaker and he's long and has great floppability (which means if you give him a good shake, he flops around and bops you in the head. That's my favorite part - it's super fun!). I still have to take pictures of him, though. We tried to last night, but every time I tried to play with him, EG tried to play with him, too. That was sort of not a lot of fun because when EG gets excited, he tends to forget and then he chomps on my delicious, pink ears.

Anyway, after the photoshoot, The Food Lady and Flat Skeezix and Mom wented to a pub ~~and boozed it up~~ ate lots of roast beast sammichs and cheeseburgers and stuff. Would you believe that they did not bring me any leftovers??? It's tough to be a froot bat sometimes. They also gotted to talk to Jeter Harris's Mom on the phone! Can you believe it? They didn't get to talk to JH, though - he was outside giving Joba the stink eye. Anyway, you can read all about our visit over at Mousebreath!.

I gotta say that it was so cool to meet them. And Flat Skeezix didn't even chomp on my froot bats. He's an awesome kitteh.

Doods, I was on there first. Then somekitty just moseyed over and cuddled up on my bed. So not cool. But he did leave the froot bats alone (for once!), so I just let him stay there. Mom was pretty impressed at how relaxacated my froot bats are - lately when EG's around, they're pretty tense. Because he keeps trying to taste them. Wouldn't you be tense, too? Just sayin'.

So Mama had this cup of coffee (with cream - yum!). And I kinda wanted to have some of the cream, but it turns out it's kinda hard to separate them once they're in the cup together. I sniffed it and pawed at it and I couldn't get the cream to jump into my mouth. Here I am giving the coffee a very dirty look. Because coffee is not delicious at all.

So I was chilling on Dad's lap, having a nice bath, and he took this picture. Is nothing sacred? I guess it's a good thing he only caught me washing my paw. It definitely could've been worse.

Then he sent The Mom this picture and said, "Pai Mei." They haven't called me that in a long time. Pai Mei is a character in the movie Kill Bill Vol 2. He has luxurious, white whiskies and The Mom says that my luxurious whiskies remind her of him. Here's a couple of pictures to compare:

Froot Bat Friday

It's been a busy couple of weeks. I had to get my teeths cleaned last week. They shaved my arm and my delicious, pink arm skin was showing. I was afraid that somekitty would try to nom on me, but I guess it's not as delicious as my ears. Dr Tara also stoled one of my teeths. It was just a little one and it was real loose. I gotted some pain medicines just in case it bothered me (it didn't seem to - I was chowing on kibbles as soon as I gotted home). Mom had a staycation last week, but she got sick, so me and the twins had to take care of her. It was exhausting. Here is a picture of me taking care of Mom. Or maybe taking a nap. Either way. hehehe

On Memorial Day, we wented to Gramma and Papa's house for a picnic. It was pretty fun. There was a little dawg there that growled at me when I drank out of his bowl. I didn't like that. But Papa gave me tons of scritches and it was awesome. I also gotted to eat the ends of Mom's hot dawg (she hates hot dawg ends - they gross her out). They were super yummy. Gramma also made some dawg cookies for me, so I gotted to have some of those. We also took a big walk. It was awesome to sniff all the different smells and taste the local rabbit dookie. BOL By the time we left, I was pretty tired. Here is a picture of me on the ride home.

Last night, me and Dad and Mom ated dinner out on the patio. Well, they ated and I watched for dropped foods. When they were done eating, Mom fed me a potato wedge in exchange for flashing my froot bats. That potato wedge was pretty nommy. I could definitely get paid for photoshoots with potatoes. I'll have to have a talk with Mom.

This was supposed to be my post for last Froot Bat Friday, but since Blogger was not cooperating, I didn't get to post. Mom said I could fill you in today.
Last week, I wented to the v-e-t for my check up. It wasn't that much fun. They stoled my bloods and gave me shots and stuck needles in these lumps I've got on my side to make sure they were ok (they were). Dr P-G looked at my teeths and my eyes and my froot bats and listened to my heart and lungs - you know, all the usual stuff. I lost some weight, which freaked Mom out, so she's been feeding me lots this week. That's kind of awesome, because as you all know, I do love to eat. BOL

Then there was this:

His name is Marty. He was trying to get up in my bizness. He lives at Dr P-G's office. Mom and Dad say he's pretty sweet and that he didn't want to chomp on my delicious pink ears. I would've believed them, except I heard Dr P-G say that Marty reminds them of EG. (The Mom here: It's because he's curious and gets into all kinds of mischief and has eaten stuff that made him sick, just like EG.) That really freaked me out. Stay away from my ears, little, white dood.

Then when it was all over and I was ready to go home, a bad thing happened. Dr P-G and Dad and Mom just stood around and talked. Talked! Like they were furriends. I mean, I like Dr P-G and all, but I don't really want her palling around with my pawrents. That's kinda creepy.

Here's a picture of me on the way home. It was super hot here that day, so I'm panting. And I'm exhausted from my v-e-t trip so I've got droopy froot bats and sleepy eyes. Mom kept squeeing the whole way home. I just wanted to take a quick snooze, but it was impossible with all her racket.

So I got home and ate dinner and got to finally take a nap. I was kinda hissed off because after a trip to the v-e-t, I always get a plain hamburger from the first drive thru that we pass on the way home. Mom says we don't pass anything on the way home from Dr P-G's new office. That's fine, Mom. I'm just not going to go there any more.

Later that night, Mom busted out some treats for a quick photoshoot. She tried to get me to smile, but I just needed treats. She got the froot bats, that should be good enough.

Since my secret lair was revealed last week (grrrrr), I thought I might as well take you on a tour of my other favorite napping spots. Here are Favorite Froot Bat Napping Spots numbers 2, 3, and 4:

Please look closely at the above photo. Favorite Napping Spot #2 is located in the background of the photo. It is a fabulously comfy dawg bed from the warehouse club. It is fuzzy and warm on one side (for winter napping) and cool and comfy on the other side (for summer napping). Favorite Napping Spot #3 is on the couch, on the cushion that is in the foreground. Normally, it is covered with a blanket so that the twins' clawrs don't scratchie it up, but I like to uncover it so that I can feel the cool leather against my furs. Which leads me to Favorite Napping Spot #4: the pile of blankies and pillows on the floor. It's an ok Napping Spot in a pinch, but it takes a lot of work to get the blankies scrunchied up just right.

Last night, Dad caught up with me in yet another Favorite Napping Spot (#5). I am avoiding the camera because *somekitteh* is making biscuits on me and I don't really want to be seen in such a compromising position. Plus, I'm not looking at the camera because I GOT NO TREATS. Work with me, Dad! Sheesh! You're turning into Mom. :sigh:
